I agreed. I cant remember but during the immortal arc when TTJ was trying to pursue her, didn't she stop herself many times cause she was trying to asend to a higher god? And in order to asend, she has to be free of all selfish desires and emotions. I cant remember. It was the messy MTL version of the novel.

They've always said it's easier to be evil than it is to be good. When you're good, you gotta think about protecting people and the world and all that boring stuff. Being evil, you get to do all the fun stuff and you get to live selfishly. And if you encounter a good guy at the end, they'll give you a chance for redemption cause it's in their nature.

Its definitely editing. Too much cut and paste to speed up the story just so we can get to the next arc. I feel that the dream arc could have had less episodes. The episodes leading up to the puppet spell, weddings, nails and tower should have had more episodes to make it more impactful. There was literally less than an episode for each situation/scenario which made it confusing to follow. Emotions and tension were there but not enough build up.

Agreed. TTJ was already in love with YXW but was still evil and calculating. He knew that the only way to get XL was through YXW. The drama is going to make her look like she provoked him into behaving that way when it's not. His actions was what provoked YXW to no longer hesitate and focus on getting all nine nails. His redemption arc comes after and it was heartbreaking and satisfying cause he then knew he fucked up.

The drama is painting FL to look like rhe bad guy and him to look like the good guy.

I'm actually really enjoying YBC scenes in these newer episodes. We get to see her scheme, thinking she's going to outsmart everyone but each time, she gets found out. It's a slow form of self destruction. Enjoy it.

Black and wavy hair is Deng Wei's forte and killer look. I wish they put him in more black. He looks so damn good. I almost switched sides haha.

Agreed. From her POV, she was also mistreated and have had things stolen from her. The old YXW was mean and cruel to her. She was bond to be a concubine, never a main wife. She has to work harder to earn respect, trust, and her worth. All she's doing is weighing out her options and seeing which one is the best for her. We've seen what her biggest worry is and that is survival even if that means betraying everyone around her. I think she's going to learn a hard lesson about honoring oneself and loyalty.

He did such an amazing job on episode 21. I had to rewatch his scenes again for those expressions. I was blown away by his acting.

I am terrified of chickens, from baby chickens to anything that resembles a chicken.

When i was young, my family used to raised chickens and my mom would them chased us around thinking it was funny. Till this day, my sister and I still have a fear of chickens.

Yas anti heroes. I love characters that are flawed. I know many people prefer your average Captain America or Hero saved the village kind of guy that never strays from the righteous path. There are many, many movies and novels out there that already has those kind of characters. There isn't a shortage.

This is why Erha is one of my favorite novels cause of this.

Your observation is right. In the novel, after the dream arc ended, TTJ thought MY's decision was really stupid LOL. "And for a woman" his exact thoughts. MY was very close to ascending even higher but he gave it up.

In TTJ's mind, power is more important. So this lesson is purely for TTJ haha. I hope they show his disgust of it after they come back out of the dream. It would be so funny.
