I agree. The story lacks the emotions and the dynamics in these relationships. It feels rushed. The scenes are…
It's messy, y'all! I've seen My Stubborn; this isn't on Boat and Oat. They can deliver emotional dialog. They can simulate raunchy sex without being cringe. (The bathroom BJ in MS is one of the wildest things I've ever seen!) They can credibily do brat/brat tamer dynamic. But the writing and direction aren't allowing that to happen here.
The writing isnt great. They are killing the flow of the story and the chemistry. And whoever is in charge of wardrobe should be fired. The shorts didnt come back but what was with Kingyok's suit? On all levels they are doing too much.
Agree that this got a little complicated when it didnt need to be. But the kisses, though! Whether a series is heavy on the deep kisses or not, these two demonstrated the comfort level you want the actors to have. It didnt feel like they were trying to preserve their heterosexuality if you know what I mean. BL actors can be straight, and a series can be spicy or sweet and still be great. But when the actors are obviously holding back during an NC scene it makes me feel uncomfortable. It also makes me wonder if the actor is actually struggling with their sexuality, which I say sincerely and not to be funny or flippant. They are human too, after all.
I'm seated. But what's with the title? I'm happy to consult with any of these companies to develop better and/or more easy to remember names. Hit me up and I'll send over a contract with pricing.
Therapy Game
Love Sea
Love Like a Bike (but its a little messy)
This and the main drama are both underrated. The acting is amazing. The comedic timing is incredible.
