Episode 2 sudden kissed caught me off guard. Why did his mouth has some blood???
See, that's why the week's wait is gonna kill me. I have too much time to read comments and stew in my own juices! Why DID James have blood on his lip? Why did Ken have blood on HIS face? And why did Ken kiss the bloody area before going all in? And why does that make my stomach knot up? I want answers but I also dont want them! (This is not a request for spoilers, btw.) Its too late now, but this is one I probably should have waited to binge. 😱😭😵
OMG THIS!! I felt so furious watching this episode, I had to stop every few minutes. And take a breath to calm…
That's a compelling distinction. The Knot just hasn't executed well, but we got what we signed up for. This one made me think I was getting something deliciously wicked, but I'm just getting annoyed. And the fact that the book did a better job is irritating. The blueprint was there and they didnt use it? Ugh.
it doesn't come out of nowhere. it comes from behind on a road where you can expect cars and trucks. Sorry, just…
Full disclosure: I laughed without even getting the Grey's Anatomy reference. And I guess we all know about the non US based world of drama because we're having this convo in this comment section. Toodles! Baibai! Jaane! Ganda! Baiduoluo! Babush! Peace out! 🙂🙃

Its disappointing to me in the same way that The Knot is disappointing. Both have the required elements of a good series and neither are delivering largely due to unfortunate storytelling and dialog choices. This one in particular appears to be a good series if you dont look too closely. Its visually polished, the leads are attractive and vibing, its got strum and drang. But its not getting the job done, and the folks who will be remembered for that, the actors, are not even the main drivers of the problem.
It's wild to me because I also hate him intensely (a sign that I'm all in my feels about this show) but I'm simultaneously over this whole enterprise. In other words, I want to drop this mess but I can't make myself do it! Is this some new form of psychological torture being tested on BL fans?
Unfortunately, that amnesia scene was actually adapted straight from the novel. I completely understand your rage…
Not to interrupt the very valid and mutually felt rage with even the least bit of levity, but I believe you said that the focus on the seat belt let you know that the cliché amnesia trope "was about to hit." Did I get that right, because that was pun-tastic!
I can do both, I can do both
