I like how the episodes are being portrayed like almost entirely its in her perspective. I like the not knowing of the story from all the characters pov, this feels more direct, really puts you in her shoes.

I mean rsb said it herself tea is her life force it is her life. She always has been heir and if she didn't want it, she can just concede to any of her sisters. Not to defend her but she wasn't looked upon favourably by the family, whether it be by her sisters or her grandma, even if she had capabilities with how much the grandma showed favouritism she would just be a helping hand to rsb and I think her goal is heir. I think she wants the protection of what it was like to be rsb. She didn't hurt rsb or any of her sisters, she climbed to where she is because of her ability to scheme in a place where she isn't favoured.

Unpopular opinion here, but I think the grandma is neither wrong or right. She warned rsb so many times whether it be about others holding not so good intentions about their family or that in the family itself she isn't the only granddaughter.
2nd sister kept testing the waters with rsb but never could win, 4th sister is just a tool whether for 2nd sister or rsb not much, now 5th sister is a true schemer. Out of all the sisters, she was the one that hid her true intentions from everyone in the family including the grandma who could accurately pinpoint the nature of the other sisters except her. It shows that she has potential, even I would choose her to replace rsb and surprise surprise she finally shows she ain't blind. I am curious how long she would survive in rsb place. I feel like she is grandmas perfect idea of an heir, whether that will bite her back that is to be seen.
I am not saying rsb is wrong, but she knew her grandma aka the head of the family aka the powerhouse wishes and she still decided to go through with her plans, whether it will bring anything good to the family is unknown cause as of right now the future is looking bleak for the rong family.
To be held at odds with the officials of the area is never a good thing especially for merchants and not only that but the heir of the family is sentimental which is not a bad thing but for a heir it could cause oversight in judgement and now the family is further implicated by yang / liang momo death.
