I keep hearing this drama is good, but I keep dropping it because I cannot stand the FL and her stupidity. At which episode does it start getting better?

This could have been a top drama, the casting, the actors, the costumes were amazing.

But the writing sucked and the story went downhill after episode 12-13.

Riley’s Hair and MUA did a fantastic job styling him though. It’s the best I’ve seen him!

I loved the ML who is surprisingly good at comedic acting and RuiRui who played XiaoBai in Ubforgettable Love. I was not too wild about the FL. Her acting, and I’m sure she’s a lovely person, was annoying to put it mildly, and I also hated the way her character was written, which is pretty infantile and immature.

Otherwise the drama is short and sweet, worth the watch if you like fluffy dramas.

She was even more annoying here… I preferred her in Little Women

Love the main leads and their chemistry— they’re also visually harmonious. But I didn’t like that the screenwriters deviated too much from the source material… was it necedsary?

The ML is from Handsome Siblings? I didn’t recognize him AT ALL.

Jing Chao is absolutely phenomenal in his role. There is so much nuance in his acting.

Yang Shuo needs more leading man roles. He’s a phenomenon actor. I can’t believe Jeremy Tsui was overshadowed, he usually steals every scene he is in. Does anyone else think Jeremy’s styling did not work for him here? Brown hair doesn’t flatter his coloring.

with so few episodes left… I’m hoping the end of the drama deviates from the ending of the novel.

Exciting young actor whose career seems promising! One of the most expressive and versatile actors of his generation. Incredible command of his eyes and microexpressions-- he's so interesting to see on the screen and I hope to see him in various types of roles.

I can’t stand the FL’s character… the constant screaming… the childishness… and the lack of growth over the series. The ML is lovely and does an excellent job portraying the character with nuance.

Dropping at ep 14 because enough time has been wasted on this series.

I’d love to see him in main non-evil guy role! He has shch great intensity in his eyes and acts well!

He was fantastic and possibly my favorite from A Dream of Splendor! Hope to see him in more projects as ML!

Not a fan of actress and the ML doesn’t have the gravity necessary. Instead of seeing nuanced character, there’s barely any change in expression.

and there’s something the actress does with her mouth that’s a bit bothersome. 😭
