My heart broke for Anle on episode 17 😭

Youku seems to be on a 212121 schedule. 2 episodes Friday, 1 episode on Saturday. 16&17 today, 18 Sat and so on

One of the best and underrated RomComs. Acting was superb all around, the writing and the plot isn't perfect, but the actors make their characters so likable that it's easy to overlook the flaws in writing and directing.

I had no idea he was a singer and that he had sung so many of my beloved OSTs!

She's the true MVP. Dances, fights, plays instruments, sings, knowledgeable in literature, history, politics, knows who is who, is good with plants, etc. etc. I really like the actress who is cast for this role and hope she gets more main roles moving forward. I really liked her in Rebirth for You too.

When the crowned prince heard An Le was injured, he immediately rushed over. When the fake DZY said her legs were in pain, the prince responded pretty apathetically and allowed the guard to take her back to her residence. I detected zero chemistry, only guilt from the prince and desperation from the fake DZY

Can Youku please be conistent with their release schedule?

episodes 13-15 seem to show so much more of the fake DZY than the main characters. I really can’t stand it.

On Episodes 13-14, I hate that 70% of the screentime is given to the fake DZY. Hopefully later episodes will reduce her screentime. I guess they did a good job with casting the villain since everyone seems to hate seeing her on screen.

I think he kind of resembles Neo Hu and should also play his younger character. 2023 has been a great year for this young actor! :)

I'm now on episode 16 and my biggest gripe about this series is the FL's acting. 1. She tries to act too young and act too cute, like those 4-6 year old child actors and actresses. But the bigger problem is the way the FL character is written. She's written much worse in the novel and they toned it down in the drama... but this is one of the most unintelligent and intolerable FL roles... and unfortunately the actress doesn't seem to have the charm or the likability to pull it off. It's too bad because Ren Min is likable and charming in other roles she's acted in previously. I don't know if I want to continue.

What do you mean the fighting between Youku and production?

Underrated show imo.

I disagree with most of the pairing on this list except for:
1. ZYL + LYF
2. ZJY + LW
3. ZJY + SWL
I am curious about DYX + XRH pairing though and think they might work!

The others... especially YY and NiNi... unfortunately don't pair well in my opinion.

No chemistry between the leads, I hated the styling of FL, especially her hair which wasn't flattering at all. I'm just really angry at the FL's styling team. The kids carried the story, but unfortunately not enough for me to continue. Dropped at ep 21.

I love the series so far, but it doesn't seem S+ quality to me in terms of CGI, and production. What's the worst is the production, direction, writing and editing that seems to only highlight actors' worst qualities. As much as I love this series, I feel like all the potential has been squandered by poorly thought out and executed production.

There’s no chemistry between the ML and tue FL. And considering the first third half of the story is based on the ML cheating on his gf… I want to enjoy the drama but dislike the premise of the drama.

I also need Li Jiu Lin as ML who for once get the girl. Please, someone get him a good script as the ML. He has everything and is underutilised.

Definitely worth the watch as of episode 7.

It’s so good so far. Reba is hitting it out of the park
