I like it, but I don't really get the female lead's motivations for the major decisions that she makes. Maybe it's to keep the drama light, but hopefully her characterization will be developed more later on.
The police are more incompetent than usual in this drama. There were a lot of scenes that made me feel squeamish (especially the "raw beef"), and that squeaky voice and laughter were really annoying. Lee Dong Wook and Im Shi Wan especially embodied their characters perfectly. I never thought Lee Dong Wook could play a sinister character so well, he's broadened his repertoire.
Really nothing special. A lot of enjoyable moments in the beginning. Jo Jung Suk and Kang Ki Young are great character actors. Yong Nam’s family are also veteran actors. I thought the plot about the father and old men trying to find them had more dynamic.
A bit cliche, but heartwarming nonetheless and a cute ending. Yoo Ho Jung makes me feel nostalgic to my early drama watching days. The mom and daughter moments were sweet.
I cannot express enough the disappointment I had in this drama. It had such a strong beginning, and the writer created such a unique and devious villain. However, somehow he ended up writing himself into a corner and the drama ended up coming apart in the end.
I love the fact that Netflix is producing Asian dramas, however I wish that I didn’t have to wait for more seasons to get a conclusion. That was one of my favorite things about Asian dramas & one of the reasons I got hooked on them - not waiting indefinitely for a new season to figure out what happened to the main characters.
It's a cool list! Even though I like watching some of their dramas, I wouldn't be too interested in dating them tbh. Saito Takumi was great in Love Affairs in the Afternoon & I liked Takenouchi Yutaka in Gibo to Musume no Blues too. It's interesting seeing Japanese women's taste - definitely didn't imagine Tanaka Kei to be #1. That picture isn't too flattering, but he was kind of cute in Ossan's Love. I didn't expect Oizumi Yo to be on this list at all, but I can imagine that he would make a good conversationalist like one of the commenters said.
The synopsis on Netflix didn't interest me much, but I decided to give it go when I saw it had the same actor from Office Girls. So glad I gave this movie a shot, I enjoyed all the themes presented as well as the sentimental cinematography of the film.
