Interesting. It is rated MA-for nudity and sex scenes. FYI. Frankly, I was kinda surprised this cast did this…
There were a lot of holes in the ending. Everything was resolved too easily, as you mentioned like a Kdrama, when the overall tone of the film was supposed to be pretty dark.
I don't think he was necessarily led around by the male lead... I think it was just meant to show how deep their…
I definitely liked the friendship between the male leads. All four main casts members had good chemistry with each other. I just think that they made the second male's career a prosecutor to add more crime and mystery to into the plot, but those areas seemed pretty lacking. It's more of a romcom than anything else.
I liked that the couple got together early on in the drama, and the male lead isn't particularly cold and rude toward the female lead as a lot of other male leads I've seen. The lead couple is pretty cute. It's more of a rom-com / melodrama. I wouldn't expect much in the way of mystery and investigation. Even though I thought the prosecutor second male was cute, the writers should have made his character a bit smarter instead of being lead around by the mathematician male lead . I found that to be the most unbelieveable.
Can anyone tell me the ending? dramanice and dramacool are missing the ending; I just gets to the scene with the…
I watch the rest of the movie on gooddrama.
We find out that the letter from the husband of an older woman Muko had an affair with before he met Tsuma. This woman was an artist who drew intricate pictures of birds and reminded him of Miss Papers (?) from when he was younger. The tattoo on his back from the beach scene is from one of the pictures she drew for him. The husband wanted him to help comfort his wife b/c she was having a hard time grieving over their young daughter who had passed. Apparently Muko's book had helped her a lot when she was first struggling with the passing of their daughter. Muko went to Tokyo to comfort the older woman by showing the tattoo on his back and told her that he had realized the bird that she had drawn had not given up on flying, but had curled it's wings in hopes of flying again. (something like that). These words seem to help her as she went to hug her husband. Tsuma knows all about this story b/c Muko wrote it for her to read in his diary. & The whole time Tsuma is hoping for Muko's return. In narration, Muko says that all along he was in love with Tsuma and goes back to her. They enjoy their quiet life together again.
The last episode was so interesting, I wish the drama had been completed - there's so many questions left to be answered. Yoo Bi & Woo Bin's love story dragged a lot.
Wow, I didn't expect the movie to be so heavy with all the light-hearted teasers and interviews that I watched. Even though most of the characters were dipicted 2-dimensionally, I appreciate the deeper messages and themes that the director wanted to express.
