cant agree more about the once we got married. great chemistry, lovely watch. this one was great till the FL make that decision to leave. does not make any sense.

if i remember correctly they confirm their relationship around 20. and all the way to ep 36 they have a pleasant relationship with some bickering in between but only last 1 episode or so. it doesnt last. main issue is always about her ex MQC and his health issie. she just cant seem to stop caring for him to the extend that she will go take care of him. which makes the ML very jealous which i think is very reasonable. ur gf taking care of her ex who u know still have design on her. come on. that bit of FL i don really appreciate. she doesnt do clean cut. ML is always very sure till she left him to be with MQC without a notice at all. he thought she was in danger in the hand of MX. that bit is ep 36 to 38. ML perspective of the relationship has always been clean and clear. but he has a temper alright and ML acting when he burst into fury in rather cringey to me. his acting still need brushing i reckon.

i cannot agree more. the latest 36 to 38 episodes are so badly written. the FL character and her intelligence was so seriously downgraded to negative level. With her choosing to see MX on really shine a bad light on her. how she even think she can deal with a seriously experienced CEO whose actions of late is considered not only bad but dangerous. even MQC and GO was not really her match. and those ppl around her like her bestie actually help her lie to GO. I mean that is totally illogical. CAnt she just trust the ML and stop trying to be a martyr. some ppl thought she had mary sue syndrome and i refuted that previously because up to 35 i really like her and her action does not cause big trouble cause she explain it to GO all the time.

but suddenly in ep 36 she decided to save everyone by leaving wo a notice. what stupid woman. She causes so much hurt and more problem in the process. So illogical she decided to leave with her ex bf to be with him especially in the airport when she already know her ex is not so weak/ill to a point of defenseless and they have plans. that choose to leave w rather healthy looking guy while her so called loved one have to face everything by himself with him losing teh company because of her and his dad passing.. really triple blow when he knew she left on her own will. well it is not logical nobody tell her and she does not read social media in uk when she has phone access. utter rubbish !!!

U are so right to say once the trust is broken, the damage is done and this is serious damage. This is really not good. the script just went haywire with that plot. otherwise it would have been a nice smooth watch.

It is HE. She came back, he forgave her n proposed after giving her some hard time. They hv a cute baby Baby Gong.

She is a good bestie to the fl. Just that she sometimes hv the 'queen' syndrome when she is dealing with mi sheng. Can be quite annoying n she sometimes gave in to the fl (say, she helps fl to lie to ml in recent episodes) causing
some bad decisions making. But She is a good, loyal character. don worry.

it is tonight the last 2 episodes. it should be. but ep 36 to 38 was a dread to watch.

i actually dropped TFAB even though like u i like kiki xu esp her characher in Ruyi Pavillion. i dropped halfway as i find it very linear and boring and i really find those uniform of pink and blue rather hard to watch. I marathoned through sassy beauty and find the drama much more multidimensional and interesting. And the characters presented much better emotions, costumes and colour palette a lot more pleasant too. I think the script is way better and explore the theme of making choices. every choice leads to a different ending. and some choices are very tough and really makes u cry when the leads make them. ya defintely i felt more vested in the drama emotionally.

okie we have a plot crash in episode 36. i think it really turn down SXN intelligence to negative notch, kinda unbelievable. wish they dont do such a illogical....'i have to leave him for everyone own good' troupe. she was otherwise so loveable till now. to me that is a very lack of trust for GO and MQC who are corporate ceos who knows the game 1000x more than her.. she really should leave it to them to deal with MX. what makes her think she can deal with MX. gosh lord!!! a case of causing more trouble than what is already a big trouble.

very nice description of the actress. i was surprised with her acting. does not feel like a very new actress. great potential.

i agree with u. it is actually very good. Not good as in the best production and story of the year but it is enjoyable and fun to watch. i think the politics and corporate struggle did not drag for ever with the leads resolving as they go along the way. their relationship progresses at a logical pace. besides the bickering and small fights, up to ep 36 there is nothing major that is totally unresolveable. ya it is nice. i think if we can get pass some illogical plotholes in the first 3 episodes, it is enjoyable.

the last 29-34 episodes has been sweet and leads relationship has stabilized so much. but the Mu Xue behaviour is beyond my vocabulary. i dont think there is any she can redeem herself with me. no matter how pitiful she is. because she is so selfish and in her selfishness she causes GY death who is someone beloved son and brother. her selfishness extend to the point that she refuses to call for help when he crashed. that is unforgivable.

i just hope that last 6 episodes just wrapped things up nicely. not rushing and having stupid troupe like misunderstanding or noble idiocrasy for a last min breakup. fingers crossed.

she is the i need to be whacked character. stealing ur sister bf and still goes around blaming the sister. in ep 29 both her dad and Gong ou is so right. go and fight for ur own man and stop blaming ur sister when u cant ur love interest.

There seems to be a quite a fair bit of negativity about the drama. IMO, first 2 episode was really hard to understand and there plenty of plot holes. But if u get to 4th episode, it will grow on u, it certainly grew on me. i enjoyed it a lot. the following comments contain my opinion and some spoilers for the drama.

Negative point: ML literally kidnapped the FL. and hold her in a enclosed room. in anyone right frame mind, it is really scary and first thing u do when u get out is call the police. So this bit of tthem meeting is not logical at all. Another thing was i find the back story of the sister Si Di and Si Xiao Nian and Mu Chiang Chu a little confusing too. with their years of interaction since yooung to teenage, he never got her name, REally?!!! he doesnt know her voice and dont have each other numbers. really?!!! but it was later explained he went abroad for treatment for many years (something like after 17 yo) and his treatment and operation affect parts of his memory. still i find him not recognising her was a bit too smacked in ur face trope. too forced and not very intelligent. maybe scriptwriter to lazy to explain.

What i enjoyed: Other than abovt, once i get pass those plot hole and illogical line around ep 3, i actually enjoyed the drama lots till i am following it at every updates on monday to thurs. ML character is a so arrogant and typical CEO but this CEO has a really bad temper. he smashed stuffs and shouted a lot. so it wasnt easy to like him at first but i appreciate the story makes him a very straight forward, super blunt and blatant type of guy. He is seriously a techie geek who just doesn'tknow how communicate much with people and could not care less cause he deceased brother does all the major ppl work. But he is very smart and knows what he is doing and most importantly he is protective over the FL, standing up for her whenever her sister is being super nasty and he loves his mum and brother a lot. Love how in ep 4, he brought her to the engagement party and cheekily and very cleverly not follow the dress code and draw all the attention away from all the engagement couple hahaha...sweet revenge.

And it was beautiful in a way that the FL actually is a very patient gentle person. she does give a mary sue vibes but mary sue is the type that goes big eyes and innocent and in the end bring more trouble to others by their stupid 'kindness'. SXN character is very lovable and it is obvious she treasured her family and relationship with ppl. so she tolerate other ppl bad behaviour and give in to appease them. it is a lovely and lovable character that brings the ML out of many sticky situations. Also in later episodes, she expressed well and it is through her the ML slowly learn to express and communicate with others and not keep things to himself. He falls in love with her gentle, kind, simple manner ( like a dish of simple fried rice with egg hahaha)

i love the fact that it is a logical relationship, with the leads' character complementing each other, like puzzle pieces. His negative is her positive and her negative is his positive. In fact, if i am his mum, i would say to him... i dont know who else can put up with u, u better hold on to this gal. Lol. Also the leads are not going around chasing the love relationship all the time throughout the show. it is developed over time and events. the ML is very busy and work on his company issues, she is very busy with her comic company but they both keep each other interest and well being in their minds. they are not like lovey dovey all the time and go around expecting and doing romantic stuffs. the relationship is those type where ppl quarel and disagree and sometime may not even apologise but still they will make up in many other ways like say cook u your favourite food, fill up ur gas tank for u, leave u alone to calm down etc. it feels like a relationship that u can see in ppl around us especially those life partners. i really enjoy the story line. and their very cute believable chemistry.

The ML acting is not bad. except when he loses his temper. the actor can overdo the shouting a bit. a little stiff maybe. FL is so cute and lovable. i think her acting is spot on. the actress rain wang did a good job. it is so hard not to like her. she did the very natural, patient and down to earth character. The way she put up with Si Di tells us about her character. The way she took care of the blind boy was a sweet gesture. And now with Gong Ou, she is like press the right button and open up his communication channel and loosen his closed up being. As GO only used to communicate with his brother well and that is why after Gong yu death he became even more closed up. Mu qian chu character is the typical 2nd ML that many will ship for, handsome and ggentleman. hahaha...Si Di is annoying and a real spoilt brat. yes, makes u want to slap her wehn she appears on screen. The 3rd couple is Mi sheng and SXN bestie, Wan zi is kinda cute but boy the character WZ can get on my nerve sometimes, she is a good friend but oh dear sometimes she gives those really bad advice to SXN and have a bit of i am the queen syndrome. Just glad it never harm the main leads relationship in any stupid way.

There is no angsty 3rd party that comes into their relationship that makes us grit our teeth. Both leads have many external stuffs to deal with. taking over his brother company, fighting company internal power struggles after the brother died, pushing out the phone new operating system while she is busy building her comic company. There is no silly other love interest induced misunderstanding. they fight and talk. he is unhappy with her closeness with MQC and he says it. and she tried to talk to him about it. by ep 32 there is still biggest enemy lurking, the person who causes the brother accident whom by now is obvious to the audience. it will come to a point i believe the ML and 2nd ML will put aside their grievances and work together.

Overall it is a very enjoyable drama that is easy to watch. Please give it a try.

exactly about the fl!! so true, she grew on u. her character is like those spoilt brats and first 2 episodes i was like wow she is annoying. then after ep 3, 4 it gets better. ML has a quiet and serious demeanor, so it wasnt hard to like him.
