I must say, that it's very admirable how dedicated these people are about wasting their precious time on spreading negativity about a FICTIONAL story, that has ZERO IMPACT on their lives! Week after week, they'll sit and willingly watch something that they're absolutely loathe! Talking about some motivation here! Very impressive! I'm having a hard time to find the time to watch things that I actually love to watch, let alone spending my valuable time on something that I can't stomach! Is there a special club where these netizens congregate that I'm unaware of? Maybe, my time management is not up to par, or my priorities and preferences are revolving around more positive/fun things?! Like teasing grumpy netizens here on MDL and having a jolly good time of it!😄 Meanwhile, 'Peach Lover' keeps rolling along, stirring up controversy and creating debates about these type of BLs, and their place within the genre! What you are describing in the last 3 lines of your reply is called constructive criticism and I highly value that! I only have issue with degrading/hateful comments that has nothing to offer! I know, that everyone is free to express their opinion, but spreading negativity and/or being hateful is completely unnecessary! So, if I see it, I will address it in a respectful manner, emphasizing the fact, that it's only IMHO and go on my merry way! As for complainers, I called them silly, because I'm one of the CEOs of Complainers United! However, I haven't seen any Asian gay dating show, that includes elimination tactics with one exception that I heard of where a rich guys had to chose from 20 guys or something on similar concept of The Bachelor/Bachelorette from the USA. Those are not really dating shows, they're just rich people playing for a new toy! If, I'm unaware of any Asian dating show either hetero or LGBTQ+ that use the Western model, please post a list of them here, so I can avoid it like a plague! I'll be the first one to admit, that I have no inside knowledge of what happened with the participants after the show ended. As I've said, this is IMHO! Making already emotionally vulnerable people doing something that is clearly wrong just for "entertainment" purposes earns a psychotic label from me! This is supposed to be a dating show, not a survival challenge! Again, I'm more emotional about these things than most people, and I can happily live with this fault of mine!! As far as I'm concerned, people get way too desensitized until it is their son, brother, cousin or friend who gets hurt! One more point that I would like to make if I may. In many parts of the world including South Korea, being a LGBTQ+ person is still just a somewhat tolerated state, because the country is very conservative and has a firm hold onto traditional values! Some of these people are sign up for this show to come out to their family, full of fear and anxiety about the outcome, just like Jaeha! For him, this is not some game, it could cost him the bond between him and his family! He is already desperately trying to hold on to a man who he loves after making a mistake! I guess it doesn't matter, right, since this is "only entertainment" for the masses?! I would even venture further and have the audacity to assume, that this is not a game for any of the participants! Well, well, well! I'm kind of shocked, that nobody talks about the biggest elephant in the room! Namely, that someone will be forced to go home! All of you got so distracted by pairing up your ship(s), that this newly inserted, sadistic rule just slipped under your radar! These young men had enough challenges already both in real life and here in this show, where they've come to find love, not more anxiety and make them feel unwanted! It is incredibly cruel for both the one who must leave, and for all those who were forced to vote him out! Initially, I hoped, that this "elimination" thing was just an option, in case if a participant is causing problems or breaking the rules! In a way, I guess, I've deceived myself, so the joke is in me! I'm really, really upset, that they turned something that was supposed to be about love, friendship and acceptance into a mind-f**k! Basically, they're making these men into unwilling villains and punish a participant(s) for no reason at all! I was under the assumption, that this show was created to be a fun and safe place for young gay men to share both their struggles and their happiness, so the hetero-biased world could finally see and understand, that love is love and we are all the same human beings! Apparently, the production team mistook this show for a BL drama where people only acting that they're hurt following a script! These are real people, with real feelings and real pain! Alas, it's my bad! I can only blame myself for avoiding the obvious level 5 biohazard warning that was blaring right in front of my face, when this new rule were announced on day one! I shouldn't have watched this season! No matter who goes home and who stays, the emotional damage will be substantial on both sides! I was also wondering about if the new rule was mentioned in the contract that they've had to sign, or was it inserted as a "surprise" that none of them knew about? If it's the latter, they've had no choice, they cannot break the contract! However, if they've signed it, knowing, that people will be forced to leave, than I'm even more devastated that they would agree to this! I just refuse to believe, that for example, Yunjae or Hyunjung who are both such a gentle people would be OK with something like this! I think, it's better that we'll never know! So, maybe I'm way too emotional about this, but this is who I am, and with a heavy heart I'm bowing out! I don't want to watch people packing and leaving just because some psychopath in the production team thinks that cruelty is entertainment! Just IMHO of course!
5 episodes in and I feel that maybe something is wrong with me! I really shouldn't be watching this BL for so many reasons, but I just can't help myself! This time around it was Ho Won's sad puppy eyes that gave me the feels, and even with all the obvious flaws and shortcomings of this BL, the chemistry between those two won't let me leave! Somehow, I'm just unwilling/unable to part from this series! I keep telling myself, that it takes only 8 minutes out of my precious time, which is the same time it takes to eat my favorite ice cream cone knowing well enough, that neither of them are good for you, but with the BL, at least I don't have to pay for all the excessive amount of fat, sugar, carbs and calories in the end!
Well, this BL officially made my "It's so bad that it's bloody epic!" favorites list! This is one of those gems that I proudly collect and snort-laugh through for years to come! If I have a crappy day and /or in a BL drought/slump, these bloody awful BL comedy-nuggets always brighten up my day! I must say, that the sound engineer (if they even bothered to hire one) must be a hearing impaired person, because every noise in a 100 meter radius can be clearly detected in a way, that it would be an OSCAR worthy marvel if this was a documentary about random sounds instead of a BL series! It's so low budget and gaudy, that a Hallmark Channel would be happy to borrow the decor for $200-300 plus shipping! The acting itself is so choppy, that a person can get a whiplash watching the supposedly Dom character's explosive mood swings coupled with sudden movements resembling the actions of a mentally constipated teenager! I would love to see an interview with the "director" and the producer(s) to have a deep-dive conversation about who, how and why made season 2 after all the overwhelming "please don't do this again!) requests from so many netizens around the world? So, as I've said, this is such a bloody awful masterpiece, that it deserves it's own pantheon, because we, everyday Earthlings should worship the sheer madness of it all! Can I hope for season 3 of this glorious pile of biohazard? How about a feature film in full AI/CGI? Oh the endless possibilities! A girl can dream, can't she?!

Oh, I guess many people got a similar idea! The funny thing is, that ep. 4 was a near 180degrees turn from the first 3 with great plot development, good acting and the 2 NC scenes were actually more sensual than the full on "peach-handling" that we've seen before! The first one was just some hot kissing at a pool party, and the second was a fully clothed "wax the carrot" session if you will, right in the middle of a conversation that got interrupted! So, if you skip the coffee boys entirely, and breeze through the NC scenes, this episode was the kind of "legit", solid BL that we've all got used to over the years, with some intriguing storyline for the leads both individually and as a couple! So, maybe, you should try to give it a go for ep. 4, because it might change your mind (or not) about dropping this BL just yet! Just IMHO of course!

Coffee shop boys have absolutely no business/purpose to be there! No chemistry, no plot, no meaningful dialogue and besides a few kisses and some skin flashing there's not even a single NC scene to speak of! These two are the pinnacle of a useless filler!
