So many comments about those who complaining who don’t understand SA survivors and have no empathy… why if we have complaints it just resorts to us not having empathy and lack of understanding? Could it not be that we are furious at the screenwriter for not understanding what a strong person WYF is? Can we not be angry that he chose dramatics and angst over consistent characterisation? Because of this drama, we now have two versions of WYF that don’t add up. His added flare has made it for the worse for many.

Yall should’ve seen this coming. There were already precursors that this screenwriter didn’t understand WYF 😢

I love his directing in this (they look beautiful and you feel what they feel, I’ve got to give him props for this) but screenwriting definitely no, I also don’t like his screenwriting ONE BIT!

I know, I was already at gripes with the screenwriting before this, with the part where the ‘uncle’ started working at her company and how she was still not taking precautions for someone who went through such trauma. It seems like a small change, but to me it showed that the screenwriter didn’t understand WYFs character. Now he gives us this 😭

Some people enjoy being the empathy police 😂 , anything negative we have to say and it’s about us not having empathy 🤷‍♀️

Based on the comments, this director should really stick to directing and leave the screenwriting to someone else…

I’m so glad someone else is complaining about the director/screenwriter besides me! Previously when I was complaining people weren’t getting it, now he pulls this one on us and it looks like everyone is complaining about WYF now, but the original WYF is not like this. I was really hoping this one would turn out the best of all the authors works 😢

I haven’t watched the latest episodes yet so now I’m worried, this director had already put a few of his creative flares into it story wise which I didn’t think added to but actually changed it for the worse. Here goes my hopeful 9 rating 😭
