This one episode a day is soooo annoying!!!

Actually I like GL's character, he brings a lot of humor to the show. I just don't understand or like the favoritism towards him, they don't show the reasons well which makes you feel it is unfair on all the other soldiers, not just GYY.

I also think 8.2 is too low for mdl ratings. Compared to so many dramas that are airing now, this one is definitely one of the better ones. But it's also annoying that people can rate the drama when it isn't even finished yet. There is a rating when the series just started!

The part with the division commander also annoys me - there is just too much favoritism towards GL that you feel it's just so unfair to all the other soldiers, and as the audience you don't see why there is that favoritism.

Absolutely! If these directors and screenwriters don't know how to do romance, they really shouldn't force it!

I think if you separated dramas into rich plot dramas and light and fluffy dramas it would be easier for you to stomach. While I generally like rich plot dramas, I also enjoy light and fluffy dramas that are done nicely, and I never expect these dramas to convey any sort of message to the audience, they are there to just be enjoyed. I thought this drama was fun to watch and I enjoyed watching it. It was just a really cute, sweet love story that brought out the "girly heart" in me and kept me wanting more. If I enjoyed a drama and it makes me keep watching, I would give it a good rating and this one was one of those.

I've watched up to episode 36 but I don't seem to care for this drama. I think what I just didn't get, and what made me care less about the drama was the romance between GBZ and WSY. I just don't understand how all of a sudden they cared sooo much about each other when they had like two interactions.

I know right...the amount of favoritism towards Gao Liang the writers have is so annoying

It's sooo annoying! It's almost like Gu Yiye gets punished for being brilliant and Gao Liang just gets points for "sheer dumb luck" and favoritism by superiors.

I laugh every time I think of the poem part! I thought Gao Liangs reaction while reading was soooo funny!

I was quite annoyed with the latest two episodes. I like Gao Liangs character, he brings a lot of humor but the amount of favoritism towards him I find ridiculous. He doesn't make the smart and logical decision which is good for the team and because of this he gets the opportunity to go to the main base??? Like come on. The "dumb luck" element is just too much in this drama so far.

I wish I can erase my memory and watch this again. Haven't found a drama that can top this one yet!

Same here, NiF is my OG, no Western or Eastern drama has topped this one yet! I loved The Untamed sooo much, I enjoyed Joy of Life, Three Lives, Ashes of Love and a lot of the highly rated series but NiF is on its own level.

I love this drama so far, its been a while since I've been so into a drama. I was so convinced the writer who wrote Joy of Life wrote this too, they have such a similar feel of humour and surprises!

It's 50 years later and the story centres around Xiao Ting Sheng's family, the child that Mei Chang Su saved from Ye You Ting. The story is different and not as grand - I think it should be looked at as a story of its own and not a sequel. I think its definitely worth the watch, it gives the same feels, it encompasses the same values and I love the characters!

I feel the exact same way! I haven’t finished the series yet but the female lead just isn’t likable to me, and their romance isn’t something I wanna watch.
