I finished ep 38 a minute ago, and I can only laugh. What a cheap drama ending! Zhou Tang Lian deserved to fall…
I am honestly not sure what type of rating I can give this drama. It doesn't deserve 10/10 because it simply isn't. I felt that if we were given 48 eps then we would have all our answers. I can't fully blame on the production team cause of the darn censorship rules (not sure what they are) but at the same time they should done a better editing job or gave us an actual ending that ties in all the loose ends while weighing the chances/risk of it being cut off.

What are the chances that we get a sequel to this show? There are still so many unknowns with the treasures hidden…
Already expected. Just not a happy camper. Oh well it is what it is.

-I love the fighting scene between YQ and Zhouchuhai!-I cry at the scene of WS and LYS.Pity WS,I really thought…
The drama is good for the most part and will continue to recommend it to other but the edited ending is just crap.

Hope they release the uncut scenes of last episode on youtube. it will be helpful to understand the same. Also,…
I need one explanation and they should explain it to us in simple terms of what the hell happened. They can't just play time skip and leave us confused like this. Tbf, I blame censorship but why do I feel like they still did us dirty? Sigh, very frustrated fan of this show.

I think lost kunlun mountain this title is suitable for this drama ....they never showed kunlun mountain and her…
I am flabbergasted that they just left it sticking out like that, I can accept that if they plan for a sequel but what are the chances that we get one? 0_0

Poor he biao he really cares about fengling. I have the same question as yunqi for fengling what does her ladyship…
What are the chances that we get a sequel to this show? There are still so many unknowns with the treasures hidden in KL, her Ladyship, if Tian Long really died, CYZ is still missing for the most part. I really didn't like the time gap and they just stuck a 2 minute final scene to make it a "happy" ending. So much loose ends left, I am not happy about not getting any closure of what really happened. Would it be impossible to even get a special episode to explain what the hell is going on???

I have a love and hate with this drama, I was ready to drop looking at the first few episodes but a conversation…
Now you have me thinking what happened to CYZ, it's like she just disappeared and we don't know her purpose in this show anymore. I love the martial art scenes they did a good job with it. Despite it being a happy ending, I don't like how they just summed it up in 2 minutes. WS seems like a different person than her playful nature and YQ looks like he didn't age a day. Fengling and HB got together and YQ put a photo of them on this doctor's desk doesn't make sense, he should be putting his own family photo of him, WS and their kid (if any). What a shame, they should have edited it to make it flow smoother. I actually thought the last scene was just a dream that WS had before she wakes and realizes that YQ is gone then we see her reminiscing with her child about what a hero he was, lost in KL safeguarding its treasures/secrets for eternity but never forgotten.

I have a theory for this not sure how it will turn..1. DYQ couldn't figure out the key to star map but may be…
I am not aware what the rules are for censorship, what types of scenes do they usually cut out? Maybe then I can wrap my head around how to tie up the ending.

What's with this weird ending? How am i suppose to make logic out of it omg
It was like they combined two random scenes that didn't flow together. So confused for a slow-paced drama where I am used to having talkative character explain to me what's going on.

Thank you for the amazing cast, I really enjoyed watching it for the past few weeks and sharing with other commenters here, whether good or bad. It is bittersweet to say goodbye esp to our hero YQ and my withdrawal symptoms are kicking in already. I will probably re-watch it again to see if I miss anything to tie up the ending.

Haha what was that ending? I guess it's because of the episode cut down, they edited out a lot towards the end…
I think there was more to it as we can see from the choppy parts and left a lot of questions unanswered. To be fair, I think only last 15 minutes are the only parts that made it unsatisfying since they never explained everything - they should have added one more ep to even it out. The censorship probably ruined the ending too. Ugh but it is what it is.
On Lost in the Kunlun Mountains Aug 20, 2022
The ending is not satisfying and kind of confusing, It felt so incomplete, choppy and rushed, they needed one more episode to weave everything. What happened to DYQ, how did he get out of the mountains? Where's the scene where WS was dressed up in the wrapping ceremony? LYS didn't do much either, his whole purpose was to get WS to safety. Wow I didn't expect Fengling gets a free pass by just dropping a bucket of tears and be sent away to make up for her mistakes, seriously? I expected more of the finale, they really cut so much from what they were building up the whole time. So unsatisfying for an otherwise good drama.

Yes I think so
I don't watch a lot of cdramas but the last one I liked was Go Ahead. But oh man, the main antagonist who was the ML's biological mom got on my nerve so much. Her lunacy is on par with Fengling. C-dramas are good with these types of delusional characters.

Need to wash my eyes so it doesn't burn or sting. Don't know who Song is but if she is like Fengling then I rather not know.

Can someone please blow Fengling up? No idea what today even was….what she did to He Biao….like I can’t…
No need she's already in self-destruct mode. The real antagonist is her she has way more scenes to showcase her delusions. I doubt her ending would be good one after all she's done. It is morally irresponsible for the director to give her forgiveness even if she saw the light. It's too late to save her character.

I agree they should have just made it an even 40 episodes as 36 seems unfinished. I would object if they added 4 more filler scenes with rubbish coming from Fengling. There is just so much red I can see in a day.

Person Xu Kai
I've only watch him on Lost of Kunlun Mountains and he is a good actor.

I think Biao likes Fengling! But Sad that he gets killed in the process.
That is why she is playing the victim mentality like she was done wrong and everyone owes her. She probably thinks that by being sweet and innocent equates to being loved by those around her. When she didn't get her way, she wanted power to validate her existence so she turned into a manipulative monster without any humanity. A vicious cycle where there is no return. Young and stupid as she will soon realize. She's the epitome of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Honestly the staff did a poor job of concealing his identity. They should not have released the BTS and spoil the ending. I know they deleted the actual scenes and replaced it as memories where WS took a picture with the cook and San Gor and WS panicking/questioning YQ where her amulet was. It probably wouldn't have made any difference if those scenes were insignificant but if the proposed 48 eps was true then they deleted alot for the extra 12, presumably related to sensitive topics that didn't pass censorship.
On Lost in the Kunlun Mountains Aug 19, 2022
After today's episodes, one sentence: Get Fengling out of here! I'm trying to hold out any profanity. I don't even think Tian Long is the main antagonist. I just want to FF her scenes cause it's becoming so unbearable/annoying to see her open her mouth again and again. I also don't understand why everyone pampers her, she is a lost cause just let her rot alone. Props to the actress to make her that unlikable.
