Her Shifu is like her dad so she blindly trust him like family but I think she is slowly realizing that he is not that innocent. She is also stuck in the middle between two important men in her life and she mentions how hard it is in the middle. I think the reason why she doesn't want to see YQ is probably he has good relations with LYS so she probably doesn't want him to see that she wants revenge for her Shifu (I don't think he is dead). There is probably a misunderstanding in the cause of Shifu's death.

The few lines made me chuckle today:
Broom doesn't know he's getting married today
YQ: Why are you here? (looks dumbfounded)
WS: I am here to marry you.

WS: I'll kiss you each time you say something.
WS: Since no one is here, I am not shy about it.

I am just as confused, does it mean a good marriage?

My question of the day: Why is Fengling even in this mission? What is her purpose? She offers nothing to the team to find KL. Her brother is there which I get cause he has tactical experience. She doesn't know martial arts, she's not that bright, a jealous wreck, arrogant, selfish and reckless in her actions...she just exist to cause drama?

Even he is disappointed in what a snake she's become. Irrational and immature and not remorseful. Can see it in his eyes. YQ says he respects her but she doesn't respect no one. She turned from a promising character to a complete idiot. I absolutely detest seeing her run her mouth these few episodes.

I agree I think it seems like she harbors affection for YQ but not sincere type that's mixed with obsession with power. She told her brother to stop WS from getting married cause she is jealous and believes WS is a threat. Does she seriously believe her creepy brother can convince WS to not get married? She is despicable and super annoying, just wish she goes away. She'll get her karma soon as her brother said that he regretted his actions before - it all starts with a slap in the face. I hope it doesn't end with her apologizing to YQ/WS and all is forgiven cause I'm getting sick of her 2 sided face. What a snake she's become.

Hell no she's is one crazy woman rn. Manipulative and power obsessed.

DYQ is the ultimate dreamy boyfriend/husband material. The director made him the ideal character without much or any flaws, by appearance and personality is top notch. WS is his soft spot as he is able to fully put down his guard.

Today's episodes were good and sort of unexpected. Since the beginning, YQ wanted to get married after completing his missions but after today he just said hell with it I'll can't wait no more lol, too boring up in there? I think Shady Shifu staged his death next episode, he will come back like LJT. That man is just so annoying, why did he say inserting himself to WS and saying a bunch of nonsense like he was ever apart of any love triangle ("feels like dying ever single day thinking of her" and guilt traps her by threatening her with the gun), I got goosebumps listening to him, it's beyond creepy. The truth of WS identity will be revealed but Fengling will resent her sister and got slapped by her brother. Someone had to do it eventually, who better than her brother, much deserved and anticipated seeing her running her mouth is exhausting.

Nice one. Seems like you like are defending against the haters. Congrats to the team and their hard work. Much deserved.

WS should be the long lost sister of LYS so she's related to Fengling and Luo Jutian. Lol he comes back from the dead looking like a hobo with a bad haircut or lack of. So it's weird that he's still crushing on her "sister"? The truth can't come any sooner.

I don't think the ratings are really an accurate reflection of the drama itself. It's a slow burn drama but it has a pretty solid storyline so far. I love this series it's one of my favorite this year. Different strokes for different folks. XK is really smart and handsome here.

I just wish everyone would stop pampering Fengling, she is like a kid throwing out tantrums, out of control and no one seems to point out to her that she was the cause of Aunty's death. Forgive her cause she is in grief? Like No duh, you had to run into the line of arrows for no reason, and had the audacity to blame/kill others for revenge? Aunty's sacrifice was in vain cause she still didn't wake up. She is so weak to negotiate with YQ for half-half when she's done nothing but expect others to sacrifice themselves for her own selfish ambitions. She already got blood on her hands. Then she acts like everything is normal the next day. Is she becoming bipolar? If I were YQ, I would try to cut ties with her and just go separate ways, she inserts herself in everything, has nothing to offer but headaches. She takes the cake for the weakest link.

Ugh creepy brother is back and creepier than ever. Judging by the next preview, I wonder what made YQ agree to get married so soon if the problems are not solved yet.

Feng Ling is seriously frustrating to watch. Her stupid actions is making people around her get killed. I still think she has some redeeming qualities but don't know if that will last. I really like LYS turning on the good side but there seems to be more conflict brewing.

The clues are showing that it's most likely WS shifu. He most likely is the one who killed LYS father as he succumbed to his injuries in Dengfun temple.

Seriously just let them be. Isn't this series ranked 4th in popularity? This show is good so maybe it's just me, it's slow pace but I don't get it why ppl are disliking? Not going let it affect how much I enjoy this show and looking forward to it each day - tomorrow previews getting me excited. I like sharing and reading the analysis but also will avoid reading too much of the negativity.

Wow so they cut 10+ episodes off, what a shame, no wonder some parts do seem rushed to a different scene.

Oops my bad it's SFL but she's gone mad these few episodes. Her character can still be saved if she gets it together.

Fengling is becoming irrational and power-hungry. I think some people mainly watch it for XK and then find out it doesn't suit their taste and say it's bad. Tbh this is my first XK drama so I can't compare it to his previous dramas but he is doing a phenomenal job in this. There is a lot of talking so some people are probably not patient about it but it's very important in this drama and what makes it good to watch. I love the slow burn about it, the adventures, romance, thriller, mystery is unravelling now so they missed out on a good drama tbh. But I agree if they dropped it due to those reasons, they should not spread the negativity and give it a bad rating too.
