Fengling is becoming irrational and power-hungry. I think some people mainly watch it for XK and then find out it doesn't suit their taste and say it's bad. Tbh this is my first XK drama so I can't compare it to his previous dramas but he is doing a phenomenal job in this. There is a lot of talking so some people are probably not patient about it but it's very important in this drama and what makes it good to watch. I love the slow burn about it, the adventures, romance, thriller, mystery is unravelling now so they missed out on a good drama tbh. But I agree if they dropped it due to those reasons, they should not spread the negativity and give it a bad rating too.

That weasel guy they killed off was the worst and I don't even find him that comedic. He said a bunch of weird stuff to WS just before he was getting executed that came off as creepy. I actually have a feeling they are going to somehow bring him back. What he did to WS was unforgivable and wonder what happens when everyone figures out WS's real identity. The change in the dynamic of the relationships will be interesting to watch.

Honestly I am nervous about the ending. I think WS will have her newfound freedom and hope nothing bad happens to YQ cause he deserves a simple life with his love after so much misery after witnessing so much death since young.

It's strange they did 180D on her character which is disappointing. She was sweet before then she got jealous and implied that WS (who she called sister) was evil-hearted and advised YQ to not trust her out of all people. Not sure what she was trying to achieve saying that out of spite cause the guy is in love. That didn't make no sense, like who is he going to trust realistically, his lover/childhood friend/family member in WS or his so-called distant friend in Fengling with a motive who's clearly badmouthing her out of jealousy? I might be wrong but I think she use to admire YQ for his intelligence only but now she likes YQ because he has "power" so maybe it's not a romantic crush like she says, that's why she is behaving like that cause she craves power.

I look at it as Shady Shifu is giving out info to WS so she could go tell YQ so it can be a win-win situation. DYS is so intuitive as he senses the jealousy and directly asked his sis if she likes YQ. WS will find out later that DYS is her long lost brother. I think Feng Ling's obsession with power has gotten to her head, she went from a kind sister to a scorned woman, it's going to get her into trouble or hurt the people around her.

Must be nice to have these costumes custom-tailored to them to bring out such cool characters. I love the architecture too and the fusion between traditional and modern in the backdrop. This drama is just dripping with visuals all around.

Honestly both main leads have such beautiful features that I occasionally find myself just mesmerized by their visuals alone instead of focusing on the storyline lol. Elaine resembles so many different actresses from various angles and lighting. She is just naturally elegant and she looks so good in ancient series. No need to say anymore about XK, his acting, demeanor, calmness and his range of costumes is the best I've seen so far. The graphics and scenery in the background are so beautiful. The storyline is getting very interesting, I am super excited waiting for the next eps.

I don't know if the director wants to make FL into an antagonist, she looks so innocent at times. Maybe she is conflicted cause she likes WS as her sister but also admires YQ as a leader. So she probably doesn't like that they only have eyes for each other and she feels left out? I hope she doesn't turn on them out of spite.

It can be interpreted either way, maybe slight jealousy but not in a malicious way. I think her focus is still to find KL mountain.

Omg the kisses in today's episodes are so sweet, I didn't expect it to be that long. I am not sure why they decided to add a love triangle so late in the story. The search for KL is also getting more and more interesting. Everyone is second guessing each other and it's so addicting to watch. This couple really is really tugging heartstrings today, I love how trusting YQ is towards WS unconditionally and how she rather not know any secrets than to lie/betray him.

That will be comedy but maybe the big reveal in the end. I am in luck cause I ship the ML and FL characters. Glad there is no love triangle in this though cause I also like the adventure parts.

Idk but I think people are just trying to find a way to dislike her character regardless and it doesn't matter what she does or improves on further down the storyline. I blame her situation and not her character - it's not easy being forced to side when it's all family. I liked that she has a flawed character and not perfect cause that's what makes it interesting but I assume others find "annoying." But whatever, everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Just what is Fengling's motives? She is persistent with YQ's business all the time, whether business, politics or personal. She was so happy to persuade YQ to be friends, wanted to see him right away when she found out his dad passed, then advised him to be frank with WS to not hurt her if he doesn't have feelings for her, then implied he was arrogant since he has power now to make demands. She also looked upset that WS and YQ made up so is she following him to help the ladyship or her brother? What's her real business to find Kunlun - I doubt it is as pure as YQ implied before.

I read in between the subtle lines, he knew what was up too but he just chuckled plus he never doubted her and considers her as family.

Blame it on her situation, it's not her fault that her master is stubborn and being loyal as her, she cannot go against her master's orders, which is selfish on his end knowing well that she is YQ's soft spot. Very much doubt she'll hurt or betray YQ but he already knows she is stuck in the middle. She'll mostly choose to be beside YQ in the end.

I think Fengling does admire YQ in some way and she likes being around him. She seemed happy that WS was coming too but disappointed that she was naturally closer to YQ. It could be that YQ has always had some form of wall around them even though she was constantly pushing him to be friends. There was a scene though where she was giving personal advice to him, it might be just me but I found that she seemed manipulative to put a wedge between the leads. But it is hard to read her when she told her brother that power changes a person, aka YQ being arrogant making demands since he controls the marbles.

It is crystal clear that YQ is attracted to WS, he always seem to want her to be around him cause he has too many foes. He indirectly tells her that he likes her by trying to free her from the sect. He fully trust her and they seem to share and never hide anything with each other. She should not reveal that her master sent her to spy on him, but I find it cute when she tries to indirectly tell him that she doesn't want to betray him. Being a smart cookie as he is, It was too cute when he also acknowledges that he knows her too well and he just chuckles while she looks away biting the apple.

About time. Another few days to wait :-(

It does seems like jealousy. I do think she admires him from afar it's sort of implied in the way she is always concerned about him. However, it doesn't seem like there will be a love triangle cause he always had his eyes on WS and is relaxed being with her.
