Her face is still covered up but if I had to guess it could be YQ's mom. It would be weird to bring in another random character in the last episodes.

We will see another unfortunate soul gone at the expense of her delusions in the next episode. I think the bad comments towards WS had toned down quite a bit and it's more constructive criticism which is fine. She has developed into a more mature character at least better than her delusional sister. I've stuck with the main leads since they complement each other and the actor and actress portrayed it quite well. I do hope they collaborate again soon. It is more like the criticisms had shifted towards her crazy sister with a warped sense of love and pride.

Fengling hit an all time low today and it's going to get worse in the preview. She is going help Shifu and killed HB. She is beyond redemption, I hope she at least goes to jail. I don't know why YQ had to reason with her and she revealed that she did had a thing for him. It's hilarious that she said he chose WS over her, crazy woman, think she even stood a chance. I am glad LYS used good negotiation tactics to make her backdown. WS finally sees the truth and living a lie, finally! I'm scared for the rest of the team she brings so much bad juju for those around her even with the pendant she is hogging. So much tension these few episodes, I really need a breather.

He's smarter than that. I loved his response that he would choose bro over her but she is second fiddle and he would give up his life for her. Why would he validate the women with delusions of grandeur? Bro I was like "you are more useful to the mission, don't waste your life to save deadwood" lol. My bad but she needs to show any form of redemption to make me take that back.

I hope it is a good ending where we can see their kid. Poor babies deserve a family of their own since they both didn't have a happy childhood. I want to see the type of trait combinations of their son/daughter.

She grew up with everything so that's how she sees the world that she can do or say whatever she wants without repercussions. Even her bro is worried about the direction she is heading with selfish desires and temptations. She would have been ecstatic to have WS as her real sister. YQ was very firm with his message to her that he wasn't interested in her that way, even their friendship was forced on him. Can't really fault Fengling to like YQ since he's such an ideal perfect man but she lost all brownie points with her double personality.

I think that might happen for her to wake up. But she didn't when Aunty died so I'm not holding my breath. I hope it doesn't take her brother to get hurt for her to realize her wrongdoings.

+1 for YQ. He helps make WS more rational, she even admits that her brother did the right thing but she couldn't hide her inner feelings about the fact he still abandoned her. This shows her human side and I am happy they had a deep talk to resolve any misunderstandings. We can see how YQ and LYS treat both women in times of grief. Maybe that's the reason why Fengling thinks it's unfair cause they lectured her about going crazy after Aunty died and she thinks WS gets a free pass where she's being told to understand her sister more.

I know YQ seems tailor-made for Xu Kai but this character has absolutely no flaws. Handsome, intelligent, ideal partner, loyal, authentic, responsible and born visionary/leader. Usually perfect characters like him are unrealistic and unrelatable to others. Somehow I don't feel that way with his portrayal is very convincing but it can also be contrived as static and no character development cause he is in a sense "perfect." If I nit pick, then maybe his only flaw is he doesn't show his emotions on his sleeve and is not "human" enough.

I am on the same page. I love this couple cause they share the same hardships but I find WS had a bit more of a rough life cause she doesn't even remember her family and was abandoned at a young age. She was always on YQ's mind, he thinks about her all the time and wants her to be beside him, they compliment each other well. YQ is the only way who can calm her impulsiveness and WS makes him happy and relaxed.

Like for real, he is her brother in law now. Let it go, there's one man HB next to her the whole time who she bosses around.

Fengling is in such a mess right now. I don't even know what she's thinking. She said WS already has YQ and doesn't want her to take away her brother too. She's not even that close to YQ in the first place, now that is her sister and her brother in law. She needs to grow up fast. I am glad that YQ wants to oust her for but had that audacity to tell him that he can't since she has the other soul pursuit order. A reality check of a slap turned her into a more vile woman.

No real love triangle.

WS led a pretty tough life but she managed to hide her feelings of abandonment without her real family and the only way out was to marry a Heaven official. She lived without resentment and concealed her memories or lack of due to the injuries she sustained as a kid. It is understandable why her brother who left her then suddenly appear years later wanting to reconcile would conflict with her emotions along with the grief she is facing at the same time. Both ML and SML being outstanding men, understood and wants to give her space but Fengling was jealous hearing this news cause she wants to be first place? She is a kid basically crying foul for her sibling stealing her toys. On the opposite, the teenage brother had to leave little WS to save the toddler, she led a good life with luxury, studied abroad, was spoiled by her brother and became rebellious. I think SML has a hand in the way she had become lately.

Exactly. I think it's the director's fault. I know he is trying to make YQ stand out as smart and handsome which is fine, but for once, let WS shine and solve one of the puzzles by herself instead of having her ask him what to do next.

Fair enough. Tbh today's episode made the FL sort of unlikable even though I still like her character and ship the couple. She was pretty vengeful and hasn't reached the level of acceptable in grieving for the fake dead shifu. Her long conversation with YQ near the end made me understand her roller coaster emotions towards abandonment, prove she isn't a loser and longing for a family she never had. Despite everything going on, I liked how they could share everthing with each other as a married couple, good or bad. YQ could have remained single but there's no romance which sucks too.

What a heavy episode today with so much angst. Both ML and SML were great at handling the emotional FL and SML. WS is in grief and was a bit irrational at times but I liked how she expresses how torn her feelings are to YQ and Fengling's true goals. Today's episode shows that she was never in love with YQ but she doesn't want to be second place for everything compared to WS. She wants validation that she is strong or better, but she lost her way with bitterness.

Does anyone know the age range of each character in the show? I think we only know WS is around 21-22, YQ probably the same or a bit older, Fengling is younger so she is a teenager?

Did he had some? Didn't notice at all. Honestly the main couple gives me a Return of Condor Heroes with YangGuo and Dragon Girl feel.

I just wanted to comment on the amazing new photos of each character's wardrobe. They all look so amazing on this cast. I love the whole feel and especially the WS purple ancient costume one with her hair flowing, she can hold her own next to YQ, she doesn't have a bad angle and just never disappoints. Omg, the two main male leads and even CYZ look dashing. The director sure knows who to cast, the whole cast is all visuals. Sad this week is the ending.
