The reason I truly believe OOL will come afterwards is both are going to make a lot of money on commercials. Both are also produced by Tencent, so they can milk it for all it's worth!

Interesting, thanks for the info. I wonder how they decide whether a drama will be a web drama or a TV drama? I guess it's related to censorship? The steamier the drama the more likely it will be web?

I was wondering about this! The Flaming Heart keeps playing cat and mouse with YAMG. Tencent trying to mess with Youku? Youku has been releasing some really good dramas. Next year they have 2 of Reba's dramas (Blue Whisper and Legend of Anle). I'll be curious to know which of their dramas they will try to pit against Reba's dramas next year. Maybe with YangYang/Lusi or XiaoZhan/RenMins.

Why do they keep giving this Rao Jun guy big expensive dramas if he sucks? He must know a lot of people in high places.

It should get better with more time, remember the terrible things that happened in 2020 and there are still side effects - that being there are still a lot of antis out there. They will go after his dramas and established female co-stars might not want to deal with that.

You mean Gong Jun? No, I think he's great actually. I watched him in Word of Honor and it was very enjoyable. Also watched some of his Vlogs and he seemed like a really down to earth kinda guy. He's been working for around 5 years now in the industry.

Hmmm so the Douban site for this drama doesn't have Rao Jun down at all. They have the 2 directors for Word of Honor and some guy called Jason So.

Thank you for the clarification regarding which Netflix locale it is being broadcasted. I would love to view it again on my big screen setup without commercials. I tried to cast it to my TV but the voicing and video get out of sync.
