I actually dropped Legend of Fei...couldn't follow the story, but I was planning on giving it another go later. Also I think more people watch the fantasy dramas over the martial art ones, so when it comes to comparing dramas, you need to consider the genre as well. To be honest, it's been a while since I've watched a purely martial arts (no fantasy) drama.

I hope they can work together, I dream of it! I heard that China put down some rules recently regarding the amount actors can make and they can't take up more than a certain percentage of the production budget. So when you have big stars who command big $, they might hit that cap. These new rules were effective recently, like a little over a year I think.

Why is this Dilraba drama not getting as many views as Eternal Love of Dream (8.3B views now)? I remember it ramped up viewers really quickly. Is it because most people like fantasy dramas more? Chinese people like more romance? Or is it because they only release this on WeTV in China and not in other languages?

I don't see Timmy's name come up when I search on Weibo, at least not on the first page results. Listed often are XZ or Gong Jun and Deng Lun who is apparently the producer's fav as male leads.
