I wish this had had one more episode. I wanted to see Wako settling down in her new home and preparing to open the theater. I’m glad she was finally able to find something she loved doing. I also wish we could have seen Yumeaki’s parents a bit more. I found it odd that they weren’t shown when he wasn’t showing up at school and went on the trip with Wako, especially since we see his mom once and she did seem concerned about him then. I loved the story within a story about the pretentious looking sci-fi film. Overall I think it ended as well as that kind of relationship could, they are both pursuing their dreams and hopefully they will be able to really be together when he’s an adult.
I heard they put out a part of the drama with some homosexuality theme. Is there still a source where I can watch…
I’m rewatching it right now and forgot that they even cut a significant portion of the show out. I don’t know why they didn’t just cut out the bl parts and leave the rest in so that story didn’t just end abruptly. I found the YouTube videos of the cut scenes again since I remembered finding them before. FYI there are no subs but it’s still pretty easy to follow the story.
I really loved the interactions between the couple, they fit well together personality wise. And it was nice that they were able to fix their communication issues instead of calling it quits like most people do. But the whole time I was watching it I kept repeating 'go see a doctor!' in the back of my mind. And they never really explored anything else beyond using lube and getting each other off in very vanilla ways when there are so many other options for both penetrative and non penetrative sex. I did enjoy the concept of love transcending physical pleasure, but it was frustrating to me that they gave up on fixing their sex issue so easily.
The scary thing about this film is that it could happen in real life. Serial killers can have regular jobs and get married and have kids and their family has no idea about that part of their life. She was lucky to escape although I'm sure she would have PTSD and issues trusting men for the foreseeable future. At the end of the film I think she may have been thinking of the good times they had as a coping mechanism.
Lucky I wasted my time. I can't believe I was exited to watch the episodes. The writer and director got greedy…
Trust me, I still waste my time on some shows. It’s really a gamble with Chinese historical shows whether they will have a sad ending or not and I’ve made the mistake of watching a few while they were airing and was disappointed in the end! I do think it helps to wait until a show has completely aired and see how other people have responded to it, but sometimes I just can’t help myself and dive in head first.
I wish we could have seen more of Aya’s boyfriend at the end. He only pops up a few times, and even then it was mostly when they worked at the same company. It would have been nice to see more of their interactions as friends throughout the years.
I enjoyed this but I wish we could have seen more about Nana’s future at the end. I would have liked to see her become a violin teacher. I didn’t like Ranbou at all, I was surprised Yoshimi forgave him in the end.
This show is a good example of why you should go to the police instead of your school if you are assaulted. A lot of schools care more about their reputation than their students' well-being.
Don't waste your time if you enjoy romance. The main lead pines for a character she never ends up with and at then end of the show, now in 2009, a reporter says she never married.
The last minute sad ending was unnecessary to me. It's already a fantasy show, they could have come up with a way for him to live longer. Besides that and the story dragging a bit I really enjoyed this show.
