If you have watched it, then you’ll understand. It’s not the plot. It’s the emotions.

I don't think this drama was designed to be plot driven.this is all about emotions, reactions, human interactions, relationships. The little boy’s love for his mom and concern for the cost of his healthcare. The cute exchanges between her parents . The pull and push between her two besties.

But it’s great for ZLH fans!

Les belles fun. The best thing is fun. Filter is fun. All have females who had setbacks but they don’t focus on it so much. This one seems more serious and wanting to dwell on her (and his?) past traumas. Just not for me.

1 stopped after ep 8. Seems like a lot of folks are enjoying it. I probably won’t pick it up even though I like the second lead actors and really like Reset. It’s probably the directing that’s not doing it for me.

I share the same sentiment. Had to go and find happier meadows elsewhere. I drop by every so often to see if Edward Chen’s character makes any progress.

Lets she how she behaves in the next episode. Ít appears she feels bad. And her friends also gave her the look… like ‘girl, why didn’t you get your facts straight!’ I am hoping she learns and matures from this experience. Remember, she s been impassive in a 7 year relationship and has trouble confronting her loving parents about important life decisions. She’s definitely not a perfect, mature person who knows how to talk conflicts things out.

But wait, sit was also her prompting that got him to be a consultant. Yes, she’s opinionated but she has her bestie’s best interest, though reasonings are wrong.

I’m blushing for her. The way he responded after the misunderstanding was cleared up would make any girl want to disappear. so embarrassing. He’s all cheery on the way to the garden! Hahaha…

Ep 11 & 12 are great as they not only continue with surprising us with more outlandish humor but also with serious topics. I appreciated the scenes where is questioning his feelings for Su Miao. He’s appreciating SCC more. And I love how no matter what character she’s in, her effervescent personality shines through .

Also love how the creative team handles common tropes by turning them 180 degrees or changes them all together. ‘Hero saving the damsel in Distress’ - 🤣🤣

I even find the jerk husband character hilarious. His acting is comical.

His expression was pricelsss. And then later, when he sees the real Fang Jin, he’s questioning himself “is this part of her plan?”. Poor guy, his head must ache quite a bit by the end of ep 12. I’d be so dizzy too!

Oh my goodness - I just watched that scene and had to stop what I was eating. Otherwise my screen would have been a mess! How do they come up with that! Cosplay?!? And his expression throughout the whole scene was awesome! 😳🤣🤣🤣🤣

Also, I looked at this screenwriter's past works. she's not young. she's a romance scriptwriter and based on her past works, seems like this is her area of expertise. she did work on Love 020 back in 2016 which was a big hit. now that I think about it, she is good at bringing out the emotions associated when two people fall in love. Maybe she's using it for romance maybe she's bringing it up because it's an issue for women (the primary audience) and she understands. But she also brought out the gradual friendship built up between them. How they support each other without judgment / pushiness. This drama doesn't make me think whether the guys is worthy. Instead, it just make me fall in love with the way they're falling in love.

So, I cannot speak for other screenwriters or dramas but this one so far is legit and it doesn't feel like manipulation for me.

huh??? but this is drama and not real and caters to a mainly female audience's fantasy. As an audience, I am well aware of that. hahaha...

what about the oldie but goodie - The Romance of Tiger and Rose? I found that pretty hilarious.

I watched this drama while it was airing and loved it. It's different than the typical formulas. Go in with an open mind - don't judge the character's character too much. There's a him vs her battle of the wits, and team Scooby Doo vs the enemies but what this drama is great at is knowing that it's a light hearted rom com and does not get distracted from that main theme. Also, it's very much about a a fight for female freedom of choice.

That's pretty darn good. This is a fun drama.
