Well - what about the princess growth arc? She’s great in the drama. And the bond between the gang members? In regards to LT - that was all over the place (I suspect it suffered from censorship) otherwise that would have been interesting.

That’s tough. Here’s a few with strong female but not the same:

1. A journey to love - focus is in the journey and not the destination. Some choppy rushed editing towards the end that would otherwise make it amazing.

2. Rising with the wind - about overcoming challenges. I still rate highly but I don’t mind
morally gray characters.

3. Alliance - more of a revenge drama

If you haven’t seen it yet and want more info, here’s a good review but it doesn’t give away a bit of the plot. It’s different and typical idol drama.

Yes - I’ve been trying to watch other dramas - GODF and the Blossoming Love - but still missing this one. BLossoming love is probably the closest in capturing feelings but still miss this one.

What’s sad is the Song family destroyed because of hate. Only Song Mo remained.

As the episodes continue more details on the villains are revealed. Maybe this is not for you if it’s not captivating. Everyone is different. I was on the edge of my seat til the end. Of course, there’s a couple eps (which you are approaching) which do not focus on the main lead and the audience weren’t happy about that. But I found it fine since I like fleshed out characters.

I wasn’t sure about another drama with “Blossom” in its title, especially having recently finished the awesome Blossom (which has a high bar to meet) two weeks ago. However, this has been interesting and engaging enough for me to continue with each ep. release.

The SML is definitely the more interesting, charismatic, and somewhat mysterious male actor so far. Def. flashes suggesting he’s not a “good” guy however, so far, he’s been a great partner in the dynamic triple.

Fl is a great bold bad-ass character.

I also have a feeling there’s something going on between dark lord and GQM’s mom (probably romantic tragedy) that led him to become the dark lord.

Nah, your feelings are valid. Personally, I attribute this to the director or whoever is in charge of creating these characters. Princess Lin’s current character draws little empathy from the audience (different from the role she played in new life begins). Good portrayals will invite the audience to connect with the characters. so far, it’s the opposite effect. Even the scene where she’s trying to save face by letting him wait on her looked cruel though I assume it was supposed to be humorous.

Started this from Blossom. It’s a different vibe and not as engaging as Blossom but so so. Humorous drama. The princess LingAn misunderstanding has annoyed me. So far, the depiction of her is not very favorable even though she’s the FL. She’s supposed to be mischievous but instead, she’s presented as an annoying, bratty, useless, dishonest person. I Don’t blame the actress. Just describing how the characters are presented.

Blossom is one of the top 5 best dramas of 2024 for AvenueX. Regardless of how you feel about her reviews, this is great for our drama to get more views. I’m also glad she enjoys it because she was getting bored by the many typical lackluster masses of idol dramas.

Yup - you’re gonna lose a lotta sleep! I finished it back when it was airing and still coming back to read discussions.

That was a lovely drama. I ended up,buying a matcha whisk because of it! Lol… don’t know when I’ll ever use it.

Under the power is my favorite of the bunch.
