After the Blossom I am once again in a cdrama drought...None of the ongoing dramas rn seems to have grasped my…
I too loved Blossom. I’ve checked out Dafeng, Moonlight, life is a choice, and this one. I’d say I’ve found this one most interesting overall. It’s the one that I look forward to following most. I may check out Peony though since the director directed some of my favorite dramas.
The amount of comments just thirsting over the SML is crazy to me, they don't even give reasons as to want him…
Here are a few:
Hot Smart Devoted to Fl- even as he wonders whether she’s that girl from his past Devoted to the main male lead (at least at this point) - even though he likes the Fl Interesting mysterious character - does not get caught up in the pretentious good vs evil stage
Haven’t started yet but this cast has a lot of familiar faces that I like! The director is quite young and has directed pretty good dramas including some tear jerkers . I remember bawling while watching Go Ahead.
So, when she went back, can someone explain her choices and convo with the ai? I couldn’t read the Chinese on th screen hat she made selections of at the beach.
wonderful story; light in its delivery but entertaining - lots of dramatics but nothing unbearable - and VERY…
Excellently put. Is a focused storyline with ‘ no overly dramatic melodrama for the sake of drama’
I’ve moved onto the big production dramas currently airing and they are full of the nonsensical behaviors and actions for the sake of being “cool”, over dramatic, etc. This drama is one of the few special ones with no agendas nor motivations other than telling a good story.
Haven’t started yet but I’ve been seeing so many good reviews and just wondering if this drama has a good…
This has good plot execution and balance of intensity, angst, humor, love, curiosity. Please don’t expect a lot of skinship and passionate kissing. It’s more the “mood” chemistry. There’s also a lot of clues the dialogue and subtle details that would be missed if you don’t pay attention and then you’d get bored. Also, a good bit of palace and family politics and plotting. Its best to watch it without expectations and and spoilers. That way you can enjoy it most.
She was venting her emotion against CZ by following FY just like how she was venting her frustrating against FY…
Teleport - he teleported her earlier back to the city in time for her to witness her father’s death. These details are choices of the director or whoever is in charge of the screen. I just like things to be kinda credible (even in a xian xia idol drama)
She was venting her emotion against CZ by following FY just like how she was venting her frustrating against FY…
Yeah - I felt it was also unrealistic that she threw 10 years of her relationship with CZ out b/c she finds out his true identity. 10 years is a long time in human span. Either 1) you weren’t that close 2) you’re immature, petty, selfish even.
I get that it was a big deal for her but she’s also conveyed as a loving & lively person. She didn’t disown her dad for rejecting her notions and then revealing the truth that he did believe. She was willing to hear him out when he explained the people’s demand on him but not willing to hear CZ out because he was forbidden to expose his identity.
It’s just these little details are irksome for me. I generally try to accept them as part of the dramaworld logic until enough build up to no longer allow me to suspend reality.
Ep 5 - Ok, am I the only one who’s confused? She resists and threatens him that she’s not going with him but then she just willingly walks away with him while CZ is laying injured unable to stop him? Makes no sense. At least show some resistance. And why doesn’t he just use teleportation like before instead of just strolling away by foot?
I’m love a decent story. It doesn’t even have to have a big budget but am just a bit disappointed with how some character actions/reactions don’t seem to fit the situation. A bit overly dramatic.
Hope I won’t get attacked by fans for pointing this out as I am not a diehard fan or anti-fan of any actors.
"The core focus of Blossom is on the female lead's independence and self-reliance, along with a mutually supportive and healing relationship between her and the male lead. All other elements, such as court politics, and the male protagonist's quest to seek revenge serve the main storyline without deviating from it."
This explains why it’s not your typical drama.
No typical revenge plot No ML leading focused plot
Can someone explain to me why she marries the sml again?
Because he’s a smooth talker -always manages to twist facts and make the girls fall for him over and over again. We (the audience) see his dark heart but he hides it well around her and she’s very naive and gullible. I think the future her is realizing that the major events in her past must take their course regardless of how much she tries to change the trajectory. However, we also see glimpses of hope.
This one is good so far! Well acted. Well directed. Good story. As long as they don't mess up the ending it will…
😂 I get a sense you are referring to ajtl but I’m sure there are may others. It’s lie like they got tired of editing and just want to finish and be done. Or got chopped off by censorship and had no resources to patch it
