Yan Bingyun killed FanXian in JoL1...... I suppose, the writer will exonerate him, saying he only pretended to…
Seeing how the special edition has made some changes to align more with the book (remove the story opening) I’m gonna guess that they are going to change the ending as well.
Hi! interested watching this bc of the hype. but I wonder should I watch the regular or the special edition? what’s…
Special Ed is a little different. I watched the reg ablut 4 months ago and am now watching the special Ed. There are slight differences. I would say thd special edition Ed cleaned up some details that it deems unnecessary from the originals. I find the translation better than the YouTube version. It also deletes the whole writing story competition premise. Lengthwise, it’s about the same time wise even if ep # are different.
Anyone know if there’s different content between special edition Jol and reg jol?
Ok so I’m on episode 3 of JOL special Edition. I see they replaced the whole beginning scene where he’s writing a story to modern day him dying and born into ancient time. They may have expanded the fighting scene with the baby inside the basket, cut out the scene where uncle drops him off at Gandma’s house and we miss the whole explanation of his name, cut off some scenes of the guard’s background in ep 3. Some of the wordplays have been lost but some have better translated into English.
I just finished Will Love in Spring which I enjoyed so much. I had high hopes for this but it’s been underwhelming…
Same here..but….sigh…. I’m finding myself searching for an older better series to watch. Heck, I’d watch Joy of Life again but I’ve already watched it twice back to back not long ago.
Can anyone suggest me a ongoing drama without such spineless characters, I decide to drop it everyday and then…
I just finished Will Love in Spring which I enjoyed so much. I had high hopes for this but it’s been underwhelming especially coming after the other drama. I like the lead actors but story, chemistry, character development is making it difficult to continue.
Such a touching and heartfelt drama so far. I love how it takes the time and care to portray the various relationships and struggles. We can see the beautiful decades long bestie friendship between grandma and ms Li and how they grapple with the imminent reality that all of us will one day face. We see the push and pull between mom and kids who clearly love each other but struggle with their roles and expectations of each other. And of course, we see romantic love blossoming or bursting - with all the emotions that comes along when two individuals, each with their own set of baggage, learn how to work it out. So beautiful.
I have to admit WML who plays Wei Dai Qing is such a good actor. I was so sad when his character died in Warmth on a Cold Night and here he’s such an unscrupulous, envious, ruthless, ambitious sycophant.
Lengthwise, it’s about the same time wise even if ep # are different.
