I’m still coming back to this discussion group after 3 months now. I was suffering for weeks. Few dramas have affected me this much. Nirvana in fire may be another one but not nearly as much as this one. Just imagine what it could have been if it aired before the 40 ep max limit.

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve seen a series that managed to not rush the ending. I think overall, it’s a simple plot which allows them to have more fun with the characters.

The budget was waaaayyyy less I’m sure.

I feel so bad for the actor who plays the Chimei king. Second time with a tragic romance. First time was in Love between fairy and devil.

Well, he’s been around for AGES and is quite bored, lonely, and and lost the enthusiasm to carry on. All of his friends are gone. Everyone else has placed him in an ivory tower. So it’s reflected in his character.

I just finished ep 35 and it’s been humming along for me. No crazy ride. There are some fancy cgi fight scenes so if you’re into that, you’ll enjoy it. I tend to watch things to the end regardless unless it REaLLY REALLY bad/boring.

Love between fairy and devil - you just have to get past her baby voice at the beginning (because she’s supposed to be a baby fairy).

@15 min am ep, it’s worth a go. Silly and fun… it’s supposed to be serious and suspenseful but I have a fun laugh watching it each day.

It’s so nice to have this comedy to lighten the load of Legend of Shen Li.
