Amen! It’s been so hard to watch any other dramas whole this is ongoing. Everything else is so blah… couldn’t get into the last immortal. I even tried blooming b/c of Alan fang but putting it on hold.

I was just shaking my head thinking the same and why he’s not wearing gloves or shield as he’s working around metal, fire, and extreme heat. Aiya - so silly.

AJTL is just an overall better drama - directing, lighting, plot, character development, acting, script. As for SOKP, Some of the nonsense in the plot just didn't make sense and couldn’t be overlooked. As hopeful as I was for SoKP I started losing interest.

Hehe… I haveto say that I watched Scent of Time before SOKP too. Was kinda disappointed with SOKP. Don’t get me wrong, I love the actors in SOKP but the drama somehow just felt hollow compared to SFT. Also, it got draggy.

LOL…I was going back on the comment history and it looks like ep 9. The chemistry is sizzling hot as others have pointed out. Those two are so hilarious when they’re together.

Hehe… maybe it’s not for you. I enjoyed the interactions and the business experience and how different people try to one up the other but underneath all the facade we see a different person. But I can see how easy it is to lose interest. I started a while back but translations were sooo bad, decided to wait until good translations came out. Revisited from the beginning while waiting for Journey to Love.

It’s def before the end of ep 12! I’m gonna guess 10 but really don’t remember. It’s just happens in a very organic way. She doesn’t trust him - always thinking he’s a player and he’s trying different ways to gauge how she really feels about him since she always says she’s not into him. What ep are you on?

Yeah - I felt the same way. Playing pitiful and manipulating her to take action which risked her life.

Lost you forever - a little bit of everything. Maybe more “drama” and angst than this one.

Mysterious lotus casebook - fight scenes are pretty good. Some one dimensional characters but interactions between main leads are fun. Also, more angsty than Journey to Jove.

Starry love - like the other ones, had a little bit of everything. More happy like Journey to Love.

She genuinely does want to have a baby with him but it’s more like a check the box task she needs to complete vs really wanting to be a mother.

Wow… just finished. Wonderful drama. I couldn’t stop grinning the whole last episode. This and Rising With the Wind have set the bar pretty high for modern dramas. It’s going to be tough finding comparable modern romantic series.

No triangles so far (ep 12) . More of an exploration on living in the modern world - seeking love, meaning, significance, in the big city. Somehow, it reminds me of Sex in the City but not really. Now that good translations are out, it’s really enjoyable and understandable.

Oh my goodness -in ep 12 the scene where her crush came up to visit her while XZQ was present was absolutely hilarious! He’s trying to give XZQ investment advice!!🤣🤣🤣
