The way this drama is set up in the early eps really reminds me of the Wuxias of the olden days of HK tv w/ Andy lau, Tony Leung, chow yun fat. Even the music reminds me of that era. I’m getting a bit nostalgic.

To me, the Ending is reflective. Even Sima failed him. He embraced the value of the employees and turned his focus on nurturing them. And closed the previous chapter of Tengda that was

Imma gonna have to rewatch the eps when I’m not tired. Lots of ppl w/ things to hide - including our ML who seems a lot more mature than his character’s age.

It’s interesting how both leads are very smart and seem to know how to read ppl and the situation but they are so different.

Fl lead reads it and reacts in a very chill / carefree (but not really) way while ML is clearly very fierce and wants justice.

I guess you feel his real voice is too low for his young age. Those of us who’ve watched him w/ his real voice are used to it.

Very nice finale. Overall, a good watch.

The timing is impeccable

I think the shut down of the company was a symbolic transition for Pei. He had been running it with ulterior motives and it was tied to sima’s contract. Starting over means he now is invested and interested in the success of the company and the employees. The newly rebuilt company is his company with his own investments.

Love that video of the team’s encouraging message to him and the various interactions as he reached out to them one by one. So sweet and heartfelt.

The one where he met LV on the hilltop.. clenching his hands like he was begging for forgiveness. 🤣🤣
