I watched this back when it aired and revisited ep 1 today… it’s even funnier the 2nd time. First time was so different, I had to get used to it. It’s like a comic in action. Hilarious.

Yes - I noticed her In my Journey to you as well. That was also Ryan Cheng’s first full length dramas as well. She’s been in a couple other dramas recently as a main lead:
Perfect match and Serendipity. I didnt finish the other ones.

This drama came around just when they put out the 40 episode limit. I’m gonna guess that it was meant to be longer than that originally.

Yeah.. the journey is the most endearing part. The cards were stacked against them all. Only the princess.

Yes! I am not finished but the care put into this drama is so evident t. The music and background sound is perfectly woven into the drama, never overpowering it.

Zhou Yi Ran and Wang Ying Lu are amazing actors. And he’s so young!

This is a pretty amazing drama.

If you’re interested, you can watch avenueX videos on this drama. She really enjoyed it and made a lot of fan videos of it. She just recently binged it again.

Wow…this was one drama that had a slow start and an ending that left my face aching from grinning so much. Overall a chill drama with very beautiful aesthetics and lots of affection. Almost dropped it in the teens but glad I continued to the end (skipped a few teen eps).

Thanks guys. It was just so weird seeing him lying in bed unconscious right after moving about the scene before. I literally forgot the whole heart blood exchange.

This drama blows up when it aired! I was so popular in China that the powers to be banned future BLs

ML is deathly sick and needs the plant antidote that only SITU has.
But then we see ml (looking totally fine) and fl confronting Situ to take the root.

Then we switch back to ml comatose and receiving the antidote.

Soooo… question, how can he be deathly sick then suddenly well and then deathly sick again? Was this an editing / storytelling disconnect? Almost feels like method of obtaining the root was an add on.

Can someone help answer my question about episode 34?
