It’s not two sided for a reason - she’s NOT INTERESTED developing a romantic relationship with him. But he doesn’t give up. Her heart has fallen for him but her cautious personally and low pain threshold is keeping her away. Also, she views him and everyone as characters - they’re ‘not real’ in her mind. But that stab by CGH was pretty devastating.
She was amazing in expressing her terror, dread , and desperation at the scene. And the final wedding ritual was very beautiful.
Ep 32 - we have this sweet heartfelt scene where she speaks to the decease mother of SYM. She expresses her appreciation for her “family” and “friends”. We see her growth here and finally stepping up to embrace these relationships. Beautiful. But then, our hearts are lead to dread as it shifts to the eerie haunting scene of her wedding procession.
