TRFTAR is hilarious. It’s fabulous and on my rewatch list. Love the scenes with her and the ancient scriptwriters with orange and apple analogies. Haha..

That’s a though question. So many favorite scenes so not sure whether they count as favorite anymore.

- ep 1, the meeting - the agent spewing all the demands for her client (NF) and SXY rolling her eyes.
- first iconic scene where he saves her from the water (ep 2) was hilarious. Each of them, their reactions to each other & to themselves, the audience’s reaction.
-the iconic wedding scene in ep 32
-the wedding ritual scene in 32 between unconscious NH and SYM.
- many scenes in ep 17-18
- the sisters convo about SYM keeping at arm’s distance from everyone
- song dad’s interactions w/ NH and seeing how much NH loves his daughter
- LSL pointing out to SYM that she is more ruthless than NH
- scene before emperor where he takes the blame foot save Song minister and SYM and emperor orders him to chop his hand off.

Yes, this has been very fun and engaging reading everyone’s theories and bouncing off ideas.

It got a bit uncomfortably hot at times when frustrations with how unfairly NH suffered were manifested by blaming but overall, it’s been civil here.

Can’t wait for the rest of the eps.

I vaguely recall he liked SYT more because she was more “proper” whereas SYM was too wild. But don’t quote me on that.

I find it interesting how we have two camps here. Those who are frustrated and bored because it’s not the expected romance. And those who love it and are engaged because it’s not the expected romance. Just glad that both can co-exist without hostility towards each other.

This! Love how this drama has so many insightful lines. Not just for the drama but for life in general. How many ppl miss the joys of life because they’re engrossed in regrets or fear of what could happen?

For me Personally, it’s been an extremely engaging enjoyable drama but I enjoy dramas that may deviate from the typical romcom. There’s time travel, satire of period drama plots and tropes, insightful convos, excellent bgm & acting, interesting script. Don’t go in expecting it to be like The Prisoner of Beauty. It’s more like Filter. LYT is great. I’ve been dying to see her lead in a drama. I think this may elevate her visibility in dramaland.
