Ep 10 - the talk while watching the fireworks. Little does she know that as she tries to explain the meaning of script to the ML, analogizing it to fate, that she too, try as she might, could not change her own fate.

And the whole ssassination fiasco! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ep 9 - loved the homage to AjTL while they were pitching the assassination ideas. The exaggerated scenarios were just too much 🤣🤣🤣 and added music 🤣🤣🤣

Regarding the multiple wives - it’s not really about them fighting for his attention. None of that. He not romantically interested in any of them, not even the Fl (nor is she interested in him romantically). He very focused on his work and trying to purge corruption. She focused on staying alive in a foreign country and taking care of her family. The ladies in the house are all part of this web of balancing government power.

The crown prince - sigh - he’s either in rage and acting recklessly, dismissive of other’s advice or he’s panicked and asking for advice. Something just seem off. Would a resolute character turn around and be so eager to follow someone else’s suggestions?

I’ve seen her on other dramas. I think her voice is low.

This drama is super fun to watch. Gives my JOF and F vibes. If I knew Chinese, I bet it would be even more fun! Right now - ep 8 - I have no idea what is true/fake, who is “good” or “bad” and what’s going to happen next. And doesn’t bother me at all. On the contrary, keeps me at the edge of my seat and my mind constantly thinking, which is so much better than all the predictable plots.

It’s been a joy to have two dramas - one serious (TPG) and one more humorous (ADWAD) - simultaneously airing.
