This drama is great for good laughs and relaxing. Light and easy watch. Not gonna win any awards or accolades but that’s ok. Our main leads are funny.

This drama knows how to grab your attention. Wow… the pacing a great.

The concubine’s two face character reminds me of the old film “Raise the Red Lantern”. Looking forward to the next ep.

And the dog is pretty adorable. Pretty smart and well trained.

So - I wanted to commend this drama for having a pretty badass ruthless calculating villianess. To the very end, she apologized to no one for her actions.

Also- the costumes, though not my favorite, was pretty nicely detailed accordingly. From the fine outfits, headpieces of royalty to officials to merchants to common folks, there's no deny they put a lot of work in the details.

I’m on ep 31 - I’d say ave at best. Note that I’ve been enjoying good dramas like:
Filter
The best thing
Les belles
Under the moonlight
Blossom

So you will enjoy this drama if you’re looking for the following:

-Typical plot line
-One dimensional super evil villains (who for some reason are all females)
-strong female lead
-righteous virtuous leads
-weak men (other than ml)
-so so directing
-don’t mind how some things just don’t make sense
-angst for angst purpose.
-chemistry is not really there. Maybe I’m missing something.

So Blossom which as a similar premise had amazing chemistry and directing. This just doesn’t compare. It’s a bit boring.

I have been watching it hoping for it to get better or as a filler to other dramas I’m waiting on. Now, I just want to see the ending but I’m just not eager to watch it.

Yes - but I don’t remember. Before the leads. They represent a different type of relationship

You have to see it not from the POV of the audience who knows everything but the characters’ POV and it will make sense. Otherwise, you will get upset at each one of them because This is Not your typical drama with perfect characters. It is however, an entertaining endearing drama.

Yup -excellently written and well executEd. On my top 10 best. Also very rewatch value. Unique and does not follow a formula. So do not expect it to be like other dramas.

Finally finished it! The alpaca song and dedication at the end was perfect! Just a great drama.

Oh, yea… quite animated here. Almost got physical with some viewers who were hating the characters
