randomly started this after seeing a clip on twitter and as its on Netflix and OMG my prayers have been answered, my dreams come true - i love xuanhuan dramas and always wondered what a korean version would look like! im enjoying this so much (and no over dubbing yay!)
I'm really enjoying this so far although i wonder if it was originally gonna be a bromance (or even BL...?) and they tacked on a het romance at the last minute because it feels like they forgot to write an actual character for the FL. She's at best a plot device and at worst completely superfluous to the story.

for me, bc they believed huang chao would be a good ruler and they knew that lanxi only had 10 years to live so it makes sense, after nearly losing each other so many times, that they would be able to walk off into the sunset and not look back. thats all that bai feng xi ever wanted and all feng lanxi wants is to be with her so i find it really satisfying
