Love love love this drama ! One big plot, slowly unfolding. I even found the mean poison master to be fun ! Great characters, well written. The FL is growing on me also. She’s sweet and a badass also. I love how she kicks the ass of her useless brother. So cool ! I’m glad the ML lost his martial art but is still interesting : it’s a different kind of ML, relaying mostly on his brain and not on is physical strength. As for poison boy, I loved him in A journey to love, I love him here ! Can’t wait for the next episodes.
I was so sure the limping physician would be the man who had the plant that can cure Xiao BEI Ming. I’m sure also he’s from Feng’s past. And also, I love how the blind woman helps Zhong Xue Man with the sound of her little bells. How clever ! And when Xiao BEI Ming comes and saves her… The plot is fantastic !
So, hypothesis here : Xiao BEI Ming is an orphan from Heya, the city that was destroyed. He’s personally connected to Yesha : is Yesha from his family ? He could be his father or something. I love that the plot is one big mystery and not individual ones, like in TCD.
I’ve watched 8 episodes and I’m really enjoying this. The first 3 episode tells the story of Xiao Bei Ming demise, following a very mysterious case. From the 4th episode, we dig deep into this case, linked to an old tragedy. Wang Xing Yue is a bit stiff here, but the case is gripping and the characters are lovely.
