WHY does Hong Jo try to be human 24/7 after she knows what he is and he is no longer working? Seriously, why doesn't he just sleep during the day while she is gone so he can be human as often as he wants to be? People's brains broke down in the last 2 episodes of this show.
I didn't recognize the name of this movie and I didn't recognize the first chunk of it either, but starting with when he was picked up by the American couple, it was almost all familiar to me. I'm wondering if I watched this a few years back when recovering from surgery and on some quality painkillers. That might explain why I didn't mark it off on watchlist.
I loved the US Leverage, will this be a good adaptation...will find out..
And was it a good adaptation? Because I'm on the fence about starting it. Generally speaking, Korean con type dramas leave a lot to be desired. They capture the flashiness, but something in the pacing is always off and I end up bored and/or not really caring about the details of the plan or what they are trying to accomplish.
Cute little movie, but wtf was this guy thinking? Just walking away with NO explanation then suddenly reappearing…
I just really, really want a show that has a time-skip with no communication where the person comes back and finds the other person has moved on. "Sorry, I'm with this cutie now, buh-bye." I would love that SO much.
Asian movies/dramas and their obsession with the time skip at the end-- it just doesn't resonate for me. I spent four out of my five years dating my now-husband long distance. So I'm pro-making-it-work-if-you-want-it-to-work and anti-I-love-you-so-much-I-won't-commit-I'll-just-hope-you-stay-single-until-I'm-ready-or-not-so-busy-I-can't-even-text. It's not romantic. Like you said, it's being a dumb@ss.
Lol, the humor in this. The never ending cloth tied around the ledgers was stupidly amusing. That someone thought to do that and then actually used it in the movie makes my day. Tee-hee.
It's not a romance, but there was a lot of feelings between them. I normally prefer romance, but didn't miss it here. The ending makes sense and fits the story. There would have been no good way to give it a romantic ending that made sense.
Ok anyone else realized that his blue eyes when he was younger and now his older version doesn't have blue eyes…
I really wanted him to remove his contacts for the last episode. I feel like it would have been a great visual impact, especially since as a child they didn't just give him blue eyes, they gave him eyes that glowed. I was seriously thinking it was going to be some kind of sci-fi, genetic modification thing, not just trying to make kids for organ harvesting with the 'defects' of the bio parent removed.
So I'm only just finishing the first episode, but so far Moo is a jerk, lol. I'm hoping he becomes a good big brother soon, because Seua, who seems to be a total cinnamon roll so far, is trying to be a good younger brother.
I was in the mood for something light and dirty (lol) ... and this looked funny. He he ... the redhead completely…
I think his hair was meant to show us just how little thought he put into appearance. He just wanted to enjoy life. The stylist was super dedicated to that little springy curl on the right side of his head. LOL. It was pretty much always there.
Eeehhh. I love BL but this was just....meh. Don't understand why its rated so highly. Watched until 12th ep and…
I almost dropped it after the first episode because episode 1 was super painful. Just painfully cliché and embarrassing. I did end up enjoying it, but not as a serious drama, more as a light, fluffy palate cleanser that I needed after coming off some much darker shows. It was kind of amusing that they started dating so easily and I did like the show better after they were a couple.
