Ooh WeTV have expressed the remaining eps. damn, I am now going to have organise my drama viewing schedule….I had plans Tencent!, plans!…4 day weekend, airing end dates where calculated, episode numbers and lengths were timed…I was doing so well 🤣

I can confirm the first two eps are out, but I would give it a couple of days or the first week before watching. They are full AI subs at the moment and mgtv usually do tidy up over a few days. I can’t guarantee they will be great but they are usually better than on release day.

Quality wise the production is looking pretty good, so start your Viki requests if you can 😁

It’s already showing up on the MangoTV app…so I weep for the subs 🥺 however I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that as it’s not just a web drama so we may get decent subs…either way, it’s Peng Guan Ying so it’s mandatory that I must watch it…it’s the law.

Yeah I was mostly assuming it was a more dramatised situation. I am from the UK and work place laws are pretty strict. This why even though i know it is done for dramatic effect my inner ‘9to5’ voice does a little teeth clench imaging all the HR offices emergency sirens going off 🤣

As much as I would like to see in a drama the lead stand up and take their employer to court, even i know that 16 episodes of an employment tribunal would not be the most riverting watch.

I never take weekend drama’s seriously, I want them ridiculous for a reason…but I am questioning Korean employment laws.

Anyone who has seen ep 3 and has more insight than myself. Is this merely a “dramaland” attitude for the kimchi-slaps? Because the level of discrimination and possible legal ramifications, I would have thought they couldn’t get away with that in real life…well I hope

Yes! only two episodes and one slap in, this the level of being irrationally angry I was looking for…I couldn’t be happier 🤣

It’s ok as short dramas go, wouldn’t call it a masterpiece but it’s watchable.

The ML has no facial expressions whatsoever, it’s like watching an A4 sheet of paper, every single facial muscle has been paralysed, there is only eye a lip movement. However I couldn’t tell you if this was part of the character or not as I have not seen him in any significant role before to make a comparison.

I am going through my ‘plan to watch’ list, trying to perfectly calculate the timings of what I can watch to fill the next 56.5hrs before I can start this. (I subtracted the time have to be an adult and work 😁)

I am going to watch a filler drama or some short length ones to occupy just enough time so I can start this and binge watch through.

I would happily watch another 72hrs if they gave us the ending that was in the novel.
