Maybe it is me and my aging eyes, but was this shot with a resolution quality of a potato? both Youku and Vicki have it at 1080p, however it doesn’t look quite right…something feels off…

I am a little annoyed with myself that I am struggling with one…it’s a drama that it very much my sort of thing. Do I need to get past an episode point? I am on ep 2 and I am finding myself pausing a fair amount.
where did you see subs? because I cant see in mgtv channel
I am subscribed on the app, and yes I sometimes question why I pay for awful the awful subs, but then I have to remember they are not better anywhere else unless it’s picked up by another service, so international access to wins out in the end for me
Oh hang on one minute….I just saw the first opening dialog of ep 1 on the MGTV app and the subs were actually coherent and not translated by drunk ducks…
Finally the MLs fathers talk and the mother’s flashback giving him the emotional slap that he needs…hopefully he will now understand difference between ‘loving a person’ and ‘wanting a partner’

Thanks, I think I will your advice. It seems like drama that needs the right amount of attention it deserves, so I am planning on breaking up first third with a short run series because I don’t want to get to the “40 ep itchy- skipping finger” and do it a disservice. My attention span is getting more gerbil-like as the years go on 🤣

The reason I ask is so to find out if I watch it ‘with’ something else or binge watch the entire thing. Some dramas are best watched a couple of episodes at a time and some you can binge watch through…I was only asking for opinion for those who have already watched it. Nothing more complicated than that.😄
