I was waiting to find out the type of ending before jumping in. And as i have a Youku app subscription I thought I would take look and pass on the info if anyone else was doing the same thing

I am purely only hate-watching the YouTube clips for this now…

So just everyone is aware, I have only seen the first 5min of ep 1, but I skipped to the end of the last ep on Youku. Without knowing any details of the plot, characters etc, the ML and FL are still alive and seem to be together, but looks like I would say an open ending, maybe to pre-empt a possible season 2.

Give me a season 2, I will want closure….

Well that was something…

Oooh now I have decisions to make…do I start this or ‘Hi Venus’….I can’t decide what drama mood I am in. I have been in a non-agnsty, fluff zone but can now do with something more meaty again.

Basically my first question is, how long does the crown princess-obsession arc run for? I am ok with weak love triangles but I am not overly feel that trope for them moment and would rather hold out until I will know I can appreciate it.

Second question, Is the triangle like ‘Almost Lover’ where I feel this uncontrollable need to smack the ML in the face with brick by episode 18?

Of course I will still watch this very soon, it’s KYD being all handsome and jail bait-y for me. But don’t know if need to watch one more angstless healthy/fluff piece to overdose myself back into stepping into more serious side of dramaland.

Currently they are all available on the Youku app, but they are drip feeding YouTube slowly

‘Decreed by Fate’ is of similar nature especially the FL imagining the possible ‘life’ with both the ML and SML together 😉That’s good one to watch if you enjoyed this one.

Yeah I wanted to like this so much more than I did….by the end was mostly in it for the ML/FL moments and Wang Kai being a thirst trap. Their acting was great, just the storyline didn’t grab me….I think I went in expecting something different. But that’s purely down to my own assumptions from the initial trailers and waiting nearly 3 years for it to finally air.
