Now that AvenueX finally give a review to this drama I think it will be more famous among overseas viewers soon…
I have been in dramaland for quite a while now, but if it wasn’t for AvenueX I wouldn’t have known this existed, which I am appreciative of because I feel like she doesn’t get the praise she deserves sometimes for being a bridge between in-country dramaland and us international peeps. ‘AvenueX’ and ‘Marcus Here’ are an excellent gateway for anyone international looking for regular dramaland updates.
I am only 3 ep in, I am really enjoying it, plus I started it on Halloween which was kind of perfect 🤩
I second that, “ Don't Mess With EX-Girlfriend” and “ Night of Love With You” and also “Detective Husband…
nps, I like the short dramas with all they sometime ‘dubious’ quality as they are good little fun size breaks to have between full length dramas. Or if you need some light and fluffy antics before you get into something more serious.
I have custom list which I keep regularly updated for all the short dramas that I have watched or planning to, so feel free to check that if you want more recommendations or ones to possibly avoid.
So far so good. I don't usually like these short dramas but this one I'm really enjoying so far
I second that, “ Don't Mess With EX-Girlfriend” and “ Night of Love With You” and also “Detective Husband I've Never Met” are the most recent best short dramas I have seen, if you are looking for more to be time fillers
Mango Short Play is kicking it out on YouTube as of now, found the first “4eps” eng subbed. So weird that…
True, they could have split it up, I haven’t yet explored much further other than discovering it suddenly existed on the ‘tubes’ today :)
This will be watched as it’s Ryan Chen as I decided that after watching him put that level of commitment into playing a husky, the least I can do is watch all of his works 😂
Anyone know where to watch with English subs, please?
Mango Short Play is kicking it out on YouTube as of now, found the first “4eps” eng subbed. So weird that it’s coming up as a movie on MDL. I have not watched it yet, but it’s probably MangoTV subs so prepare for possible eye bleeding and nausea.
Ok I have made it ep12…sorry all, but I am just not feeling this one i am afraid. Some dramas just click for people and some just don’t, I am sadly the latter…we can’t win them all.
I am up to ep 7 and will see it out to the end. I am still trying to warm up to it.
Before everyone comes after me with torches and pitchforks, this is my my own personal opinion for what works for me….(prepares for a good head start)
I generally struggle with SY (FL), I find her line delivery a little bit shouty which sadly takes me out of the scene on some occasions. I have found this with some of her other dramas. She has a great emotional range and really good natural acting, so I am a little sad that I can’t enjoy it as much as I want to and think I should. I am not sure if her voice is just naturally fairly loud, but I find it kind of sounds like when you first talk to someone after leaving a loud concert.
I loved Li Guoyi in the original but I like the remake too so far. Just expect the male lead to be more subtle…
Oh don’t get me wrong, it’s on my plan to watch list, i am tying to debate with my inner thoughts of when to try it.
I am currently still working my way through the (main story) ‘Candle in the Tomb’ series’s waiting for ‘Law Cafe’ and ‘Love in Contact’ to get close enough to finish airing so I can start the binge of them. I will probably give this a go after that or slip ‘Mr Bad’ in quickly first.
Too many dramas, not enough time…and yes, I just realised that I have project planned my viewing schedule for the next month…I have problems…😂
Now I have a dilemma, I loved ‘Meet Me @1006’…do I just keep the happy memories or do I try it? Li Guo Yi…
I will probably let it get I bit further with the episodes and scout YouTube for few clips and the comment section here to see how it progressing. I have few other dramas I plan to watch next, so I should have good guide from whats been released up until then.
Now I have a dilemma, I loved ‘Meet Me @1006’…do I just keep the happy memories or do I try it? Li Guo Yi did a pretty amazing job at ML in the original version
2/3 through and I would say that it’s more ‘talking’ than ‘tombing’….still fairly entertaining, i am watching this as more for setup/backstory for characters for the main story sequels incoming binge watch.
I have tried, I really have, but I can’t get past the MLs wig sideburns….I know it makes me sound as shallow as puddle in car park, but I find them so distracting. I may be missing out on the possibility of ‘Goblin’ equivalent drama mastery, however sadly I just can’t unsee them.
If you want about as much of closed off ending that you can get without a S2, do not watch the last 39sec of the final episode…just stop right there, put everything down and walk away.
Do not binge watch, I repeat do not binge watch! I have got to ep 3 back to back and I am an emotional puddle of goo. JCW’s acting is amazing, and it great to see him in drama that will let him branch out from the typical cool action hero.
Normally I would plough straight through a drama, but I will do a couple of episodes at time and break it up with something a little lighter, otherwise I will have to explain to people at work why I have been ugly crying for 7days straight.
This is so underrated!! I'm only half way through the show but so far I'm loving it, the first episode is slow…
This has been on my ‘plan to watch’ list for a very long time. I keep opening to watch but putting it off. When you have finished it, I would be interested in how you found it as whole. I keep reading the reviews and they are all very 180 with each other.

Yes I am disappointed in myself 😂
