It’s so weird, and Cheng Yi has so many lined up. Waiting for all of them

I have to say some of the most impactful scenes were between NH and CGH, showcasing a tragic reality on how some friendships fall apart. That argument they had (where LYN did such a good job in conveying his emotions and pain) and the final fight (with the aesthetics of the snow and the OST - I should’ve known this was directed by the same person as in Mysterious Lotus Casebook) were done so well. I feel for their characters because you can see how important they were to each other. Even in the end, NH was heartbroken over losing his childhood friend, who was at a point of no return.

I think they did a good job on ending it, not in a way where we are left so confused (like some open endings in other dramas), but just enough to use our imagination/ interpretation. It allows the discussion among the audience to continue lol. I feel like rewatching now

Omgosh I really hope they do the novel justice. Even with the changes, I hope they can stick to as much of the main story as possible!

I just hope they come out before Zhu Yu which seems to have a similar genre
