Did the original Sang Sang ever come back in the novel or did Ning Que just continue life with Hao Tian? Or did Sang Sang slowly take back her body in the end? It was hard to understand and I want to know how it happened at the end of the novel. I am hoping it is the original Sang Sang

I did hear that Cheng Lei has a drama coming out with Song Yi - if that is the case then they wouldn’t be releasing this yet right? I feel that they always try to stagger dramas with the same main actor

Hope this gets aired before Zhang Ling He’s drama which also appears to be a similar theme (ie generals). Otherwise, it would more of a disadvantage given they are delaying this already and using AI to edit out the supporting lead’s face

I sympathized with Chu Zhao and feel like he almost didn’t have any way out. Many ppl in his shoes may have ended up on the same path or even worse. His primary goal was always survival from the day he was born so he would do anything to achieve that. Not to justify his actions but I can sympathize with him. The fact he was able to live on in the end was already a blessing, but of course the price paid was losing all the ppl he cared about.

That was fast lol. I wonder how bad the editing is given the quick turnaround. Tbh it’s quite unfortunate they had to do this - his actions were not as serious as some things other ppl did (not trying to justify his actions but you know what I mean). Hope it the face swapping isn’t so obvious and distracting - that would really affecting the drama quality.

Omg I love the lines in the novel. They are by far my favourite couple - both strong, intelligent, talented and gentle hearted. I love how XJ’s lines always seem to be in response to something HY says earlier in the novel.

Another one I love is when HY makes a wish on her birthday hoping that someone will come just for her, and later on in the book XJ says “I only came for HY” my heart <3

Read the eng translations and now I’m listening to the audiobook - voice actors are pretty good. And having the image of Zhou Ye and Cheng Lei as the characters make me feel like I’m “watching” the drama. LOL this is the only way I can get over having to wait. Hopefully the drama is good even with the changes (hope most of the main plot remains the same), I hope it doesn’t disappoint everyone who has been patiently waiting.

I just finished the eng translations and am having withdrawals T_T best story ever, I love the main OTP and Lin Shuang He! Lol so decided to listen to the audiobook now haha. Which chapters are your fave?
