What was YDZ and WJ’s relationship like in the novel? Not saying it’s impossible, but it is hard to believe after being separated for so many years they could somehow be in love. They were just kids, she looked no more than 5/6 at the time lol. I feel bad for WJ, she has a heartbreaking life (and from what I spoiled myself - she loses YDZ, isn’t really around to watch Wuxin grow up and loses her other son in the end). She was living her life in shackles. But I cannot seem to like her character much at the same time lol is it just me??
