I love Zhuo Ying, best bro ever! He teases her a lot but is super protective and hyperaware of changes in her moods. Even when she tells him not to say anything he will boldly confront their shifu because he hates seeing her unhappy. The way he takes on her shifts and urges her to hang out just to cheer her up is so sweet.

The actors’ chemistry is amazing. Yang Mi laughed so much around him!

Just guessing, I don’t remember which scene. Could’ve been in MV or main trailer or interviews with cast and crew. Tilan was in emperor’s arms and they looked happy. I’m assuming that instead of HS having the kid, they changed the story so Tilan has a kid. I guess we will have to see

I skimmed through FZ and DX death scene (not fully literate in Chinese) but it seems like he did care for her as he was still thinking about her safety when he was dying? But there was a part where DX mentioned something and FZ completed DX’s thoughts saying, “if we were born a man and woman etc etc” - not sure if he was referring to him and HS or him and DX. Lol i think that’s where I may have mistaken his vague relationship with DX. Could you tell me what they meant in that scene? Did HS ever know about his love for her?

Tbh i wish they stuck to the novel where ppl say Tilan and General Tang leave together. I don’t find her and Di Xu romantic at all, so toxic

I saw a brief snippit of a trailer or MV where Di Xu embraced Tilan and they held her belly area? Also we don’t see Tilan anywhere when HS is in the harem. So she prob dies

He has always been a very level-headed person, contrary to Di Xu. It seems like from his youth, he was determined to devote himself to the country especially since each generation of Fang didn’t live long - he probably did not see the point of marrying and leaving his wife widowed. Plus he never opened his heart to anyone. HS was an unexpected encounter so he is not in turmoil between his heart and mind. As he said in an earlier ep, making that step to her isn’t hard, but he has no choice now that he is Di Xu’s Baixi. I don’t think he is naive, just tied up by circumstance
