I really enjoyed this show! Some episodes were better than others but as a whole it ended up being a new favorite. The vibe of the series was incredible as was the acting of the main actress, whom I've never seen before but I'm pretty sure I'm in love (her smirk, omg). I preferred the first season but the second had a few stand out episodes too. The main problem I had was the introduction of Yuri, but I'm petty sure that's just my bias for Nanno showing. I recommend GFN if you're into dark stories or psychological thriller type dramas, or want to watch a rather absurdist view of real problems in some schools. Would definitely watch another season, if just to see "Y" and "J" get put in their place by Nanno, my evil queen.
I really don't understand the low rating for this show. It's a perfectly good zombie/horror drama, so if that's your thing I think you'll like it. Acting was great and OST was incredible. Definitely recommend for zombie apocalypse type fans. Now, if you're more into detective/serial killer dramas know that that is only a small portion of this show, so that might fall short of your expectations. I don't really like zomie stories (too boring and predictable) but I binged this in two sittings, six episodes each time, and wasn't bored. Frustrated and antsy but not bored. So, in summary, read the comments and the reviews but don't let them sway you completely (even this one), just try it for yourself. I've found shows I love with bad scores and shows I couldn't get past the first episode that had rave reviews. Only you know what you ultimately like. I, for one, can still claim to be an OCN fangirl. Also, did I mention the killer OST?
Watched for the bromance tag and got that and so much more! I wasn't expecting much of a storyline, to be honest, but this ended up being so good! All buddy cop movies should aspire to be like this. Great chemistry between the leads, humorous moments even during the most intense scenes, and truly evil villians. Come for the incredible bromance, get a touching story along the way. 10/10 would recommend!
So good. A nice laugh out loud comedy that actually had an interesting story and loveable characters (Teddy and his kids were the highlight, for me). Would recommend.
Best time travel drama yet (sorry, Signal). Took off a star because I think one of the bad guys deserved a far worse punishment. Otherwise full marks all around: acting, story, OST, and production were spot on.
Beautiful and heartfelt. Just what I needed after Move to Heaven went and ripped my heart to pieces. Watch if you want something lovely and a bit sad but ultimately warm and feel good. I watched this with a smile on my face most of the time. (The other times I was crying)
I feel kind of awkward leaving a review on a show I haven't finished yet but I just wanted to say I'm a bit over half way through it (ep. 9) and I do not care about anything or anyone in this show. I really wanted to like it too, which is probably why I'm so upset and writing this before the final. And I say I'm on episode 9 but I've been skipping through just about everything since episode 6.....
Also, the way they portrait the relationship between the two main leads (mother and son, mind you) is annoying, like why you gotta play romantic music evey time they're together, omg. Also, he supposedly has no ability to feel? Then why is he so emotional, all the time? I wished they'd spent more time fleshing out the support cast and less time having mom and son stare at each other....
