Yeah, Jun is absolutely going to have the upper hand at some point. I'm def expecting a third party somewhere, they've hinted at the delivery guy so, so far I'm guessing him, to come along and Jun will draw a line in the sand that will slap, or perhaps Jun will physically slap some sense into Sorn. I think this is the episode that will be the deciding factor for anyone who has been hesitant about this show because what Sorn did was really, really scummy. At this point, he straight up abusing Jun emotionally and jeopardized his position. That scene on the staircase actually made me cry. I've been bullied at the workplace too and, ironically, also cried on a small back staircase LOL I had the luxury of the middle finger resignation but for Jun, I dont know what the work etiquette is in Thailand and I'm assuming it's harder since, I imagine, his internship is connected to his studies. Someone effing about with that jeopardizes everything and I dont think Thai would be so 'sigh, what has he done' if Jun was lost his position because of Sorn. Sorn has a lot of groveling to do and I hope his jealously grinds him into the ground while Jun learns to be love himself a little more.

I dont really watch a lot of the interview/behind the scene stuff because I feel it breaks the character immersion for me so I cant add to that, but for the show, I do understand where opinions like this are coming from. Sometimes it feels fluid and other times it doesn't. It is there but it's not always noticeable, and I feel that may have more to do with the direction and the editing. I dont know much about Joss but I feel Gawin can do better, so maybe that's just how they've been told to play out the character/a scene, and then other times, they've had free range. It is very up and down.

A man who faced danger not with fear but with the confused loyal optimism that made him very stab-able.
He was a beacon of hope, standing strong amidst the whirlwind of friendship sandwiches, English literature and a professor who clearly wants to kill everyone.
He taught us that friendship sometimes means shrugging off concerns about your bestie impersonating you to serve drinks at a party full of bloodthirsty immortals and frantically telling you about it. He reminded us that a well-placed hot dog with ketchup could be a metaphor for resilience, but unfortunately, not a shield.
He spent his short life standing back for Tong - Mr. Golden Blood himself - because heaven forbid anyone prioritize Tonkla’s well-being when there was an emotionally unstable vampire tycoon waiting to use him for his own evil plans.
But did Tonkla complain? Well, a little, but did he demand protection? No. Instead, he turned his back on common sense and the very concept of safety just to save Tong, only to be promptly skewered by the writer.
Alas, dear Tonkla, your fate was sealed by a perfume bottle with more plot relevance than you. One spritz, and suddenly, you weren’t just Mark and Tong's forbidden love's collateral damage, you were the emotional weight of the plot twist, a victim of a prototype's assault that canceled all vampire magic, possibly including Mark’s very questionable healing attempts. Truly, we watched in disbelief as Mark attempted to save your life while neglecting the bloodied steel pipe sticking out of your chest. A medical oversight we can never forgive.
But fear not, noble Tonkla! In this universe, where vampires run amok in uptown Bangkok, there is still hope. Perhaps you shall return, resurrected by the sheer willpower of kisskh fans who refuse to let you and your ship with Nakan go. Perhaps your perfume-induced demise was merely a setup for your comeback as 'Tonkla the Immortal,' the real new head of Thara's gang. The ending he deserves, kicking the vampire ass that kicked his, and loving on his hotdog loving vampire boyfriend. Soulmates across series should always find each other.
Not one person thought of him, yet still, he protected Tong. Not one writer remembered he existed until it was too late, yet still, he smiled, for he knew, between his gritted teeth, that he will haunt their dumbasses bitterly.
