While I'm a fan of Lusi I'd appreciate giving you a genuine and quick review of this show. I'll try not to spoil.
It's a good one so far. ( just finished ep6) Plot wise it's moving nicely so far. The story is heavily grounded on our Female lead who escapes from slavery or is escaping and seeks to be free and start her own life. so it's a solid start so far.
The drama gives an insight into her life. her suffering while she was a slave and what she lost on the way of escaping. and it's a pretty brutal and intense one that would make one emotional. So I think her journey so far is the highlight of the show for me, it's nice journeying with her.
what I honestly don't vibe with so far is the business aspect ( I'm not a heavy business person) and the show so far has some business terminologies ( for pearl sales and all) Probably because I don't understand some of these terminologies and will probably will as I dive more. because so far the business terminologies aren't from FL POV, so it's only logical when FL ( who is naive of such) goes into the business we'll be Properly told what's happening in this business world and how it works by virtue of making FL get used to it and fight in the business world. So then we'll ( especially me) will then get into knowing and understanding the business world better lol.
I'm a Lusi fan , but not all fans of an actress blindly enjoys all their favs are in without pointing out faults and flaws. I'd like to consider myself one. I've dropped some of her shows and didn't see like few lol. But I can say this one is going nicely and I pray it does head down the right route. So I can be fully proud of her lol. It's unpredictable so far as I don't know how it'll turn up but so far it's nice. Heavy, emotional, adventurous.
