I respect your opinion and I understand your shipping them. But all through the series, manipulated or not, all he did was give MC pain. and the other guy helped him through the pain. So it was only logically he'd end up with the one who dug him out of his pains.

The guy you ship him with has potential of being red flag. So stuff might still come up in their future if they end up together and he'll get toxic and stuff.
