no hate, im just curious as to why people dont want it to be romance?
Take a look at dramas like ALL THAT WE LOVED and currently airing IMPOSSIBLE HEIR and you'll see how Romance always ruins the Bromance aspects ( although not all case) But some people ( Like me) Don't usually like Romance in a Bromance themed genre. if I want to see romance I'll go look for that and if it's broamce I'll look for that. Just taste
Hmmm... haven't you heard of the saying "Some drama are way beyond their age?" you just have to accept that some drama were Just RIGHT at their age. Eg I tried watching a drama I was Obsessed with like in 2012 and I was like Oh what was that. But then again we just had to enjoy them when they were their thing so it's certainly not my fault you didn't when it was their thing. So stop taunting a drama for being at the top while your favs didn't make it.

THIS is a problem with most of y'all honestly. comparing a 2017 kdrama to 2024 script like...DO YOU EVEN SEE THE GAP?? I have been a fan of Kdrama so Me watching something of 2015 or 2012 back then Makes me Go Yepee.
The script of 5 years ago is something huge. and if Goblin was given a 2024 remake option by same cast.. Don't you think you'll see the difference? as years go... knowledge grows and so do scripting.
In my opinion Goblin had great writing and all. It was superb. why I didn't give a 10 was the romance wasn't up my alley ( But to most it was.) So I won't call a drama overrated for that. And then again, it's like we watching the Moving Kdrama in 2024. Everyone shall go wow! Epic! it's well written and all. then in 2030..all MUST go ahh... what's this. something is wrong here. So that's it. As years go perspectives Changes. Because when I see people Who are NEW to Kdrama hating on drama we basically loved back then I do get pretty Annoyed. Because these were dramas at that era. They had their scripts that viewers back then loved and ones that made us happy ( Eg. playful kiss was my comfort zone atp lol) it was what we valued. So if new fans basically can't take that which made fans happy back then...Why bother?
It's decent in Your or in Mine too. But Overrated is never a word used here. Because If 80% of the Fandom liked and esteemed it high...The who are 20% to say otherwise. It's not like anyone forced the 80% to rate it that high...They liked what they saw.
Like I said what YOU think..is not what MILLIONS think. and at this point, Your words doesn't matter because when MILLIONS rate something based on their taste...The rate goes high. And the minority who think it's not .. Doesn't count because not all show is something everyone will like. and people who think it's Overrated makes up that minority who didn't like it.

I never said it's the DEFINITION of overrated neither did I tell you I was Oxford dictionary. I made it clear that the current idea y'all bear of overrated is off and shouldn't be acknowledged
It's IMPOSSIBLE or Hard for you to tag a drama overrated because for that to happen. It's that has no Plot. Has no chemistry, Or anything good about it Just messed up. and this has to be said by literally the 80% of fandom. and yet that drama is somehow dominating the charts and high rating when everyone has already agreed it's bad in all sides. And...this is somewhat impossible to happen. And then that makes it Overrated. Personally I didn't like My Demon, and King the land. and in some instances would refer to them as Overrated. But then again I'm like..Oh well, many likes it so. Yeah
It is always good to not have the highest expectation. I have not watched a lot of asian dramas, especially kdramas…
Yeah they always do. But from recent ones or most times...16 EPs tend to be tricky because It WILL LAG at some times that will have people saying this should be 12 Episode. Always happens which is why 16 these days are risky
