Imagine comparing recent drama to current ones that have grown along with chances of time? it's like me comparing This The Glory to Boys Over Flower. 1. All drama has their era and for it's era, strong woman delivered what was accurate at that point. with the best of the writing at that time and execution and all. Pretty obvious why writing of strong woman is better than some dramas of 2012 and same reason recent writing is better than that of 2017. as years go. we Write better with the changes.
2. The hell are you even saying? what character development do you need again? it's there and if you didn't UNDERSTAND the character development given then idk what else you want. it was never a melodrama of leads growing through Childhood trauma neither was it a bunch of people chasing their dreams at all cost. it HAD A PLOT AND IT FOLLOWED THAT PLOT and did what was needed for it. It didn't need to go overboard by adding all these endless plotlines to make it Wow ( stuff recent drama are doing and are messing up at it by overwhelming all badly)
And in Strong woman, Yeah. The characters carried the show hard I mean... ISN'T THAT THE POINT OF A STORY? if the characters aren't appeal who would want to know what happened to your Magnificent plot?? But it also gave an adequate plot for the story and development needed.

CHARACTER DRIVEN PLOT. is something in Dramas dear. And they're always the solid ones. lol. I don't know Where you got that logic but Strong woman nailed it in Plot ( Never promised a GRAND plot) But it was just right for a ROM-COM. and what's a drama without PHENOMENON CHARACTERS that move it? a drama can have endless plot twist for plot but without lovable character it's MEH but with super characters that move a Drama Everything works out smooth. That's why we have Character Driven plot and then plot driven. do some studies

OOPS 😭 Funny how I find this Fl more Pretty than Her. To the point I could never finish any of her drama. good luck. I find both ladies pretty ( and unlike you I won't shame on anyone because all are pretty in their own version) But one has to have a prettier I suppose
I'm about to start this after running away from it...Not being a huge fan of both ( Jungsuk Pissed me off big time in W my most hated show...for some reason, looking at terrible characters) so want to give him another chance after Hot young blood with park Bo young which was amazing) and also not a fan of bae...for some strange reason can't watch her drama...been procrastinating for like years so .. let's see
