I Personally find it Fascinating how each and everyone of us have a favourite guy whom we like. so please don't bring toxicity into this and try hate on a particular character and drag them because people express their love for them. it's IMPOSSIBLE for everyone to like the same person

Well this is basically a trope which makes the Female leads feel more important here because they help ml always get over it ( and judging that it's mostly by female writers, you can imagine since it's basically a female centred plot) so they always take the initiative to make female shine as supporters of leads redemption and all. make them feel more important, I guess. speaking from the perspective of a writer haha.

Based on what I've heard from reader of book . Author wrote Cang Xuan as the male lead...But she didn't end up with him but rather with The " second lead" Who is TSJ. because basically it's a novel where the leads don't have ROMANTIC feelings or something like that and. didn't end up together
