I miss this certain plotline of Xianxia which reminds me of when I fell in love with xianxia through ALP. so I'm curious about this and hope it follows the classic tale of xianxia I like.
You do know this is adapted from a webtoon right? Trying to explain how others should feel when they know what…
Hmmmm I honestly don't know about you guys. but from A FRESH eyss of one who doesn't know the story it was a coherent and cohesive story flow.
I didn't see any Obvious SKIP or Sudden Jump Or something. so It made sense for a storyline flow. So idk Sorry for the cutting but that's how it goes for adaptation. Like it's said "An act of translation is an Act of Betrayal" So When translating to another media changes are inevitable

You know you can't expect a 100% FOLLOW-UP of it's storyline right? Especially for the fact that's it only 8 EPs. so I guess they're pretty much trying to make it short while making the storyline make sense for Non WEBTOON viewers like us. because if they followed it up till the dot. Well... I'm sure 8 EPs would complete maybe like 10 chapters with some rush and We probably won't understand what TF we're supposed to be watching.
For me Overall the show was good and I don't expect you to Feel the same. But as long as it's a good storyline Then Sure.
I don't really understand what y'all are saying but This drama was EPIC. I UNDERSTAND the urge to compare with S1. Sure. But As someone who loved the S1 am that I went to sleep crying and dreaming about it. I loved this. Binged it without getting bored and found it as gripping. it's not set in the same school and situation as ep1 so of course you're expecting a somewhat different aura from it.
Hmmmm. Hongyi 2nd lead. Ouch. My boy is too fine to always be a sad boy.
+ The Plot honestly doesn't sound that gripping. And for a 40 EPs.. which is scary.. It's a pure risk. Because there doesn't seem like a lot of promising plotline to place on the table.
